2019 DCSB 4x4. 6,200 miles. Eibach Pro lift 2” front 1”block in rear. First noticed the “rumble strip” vibration on deceleration about a week after lift was installed and alignment was done. Starts around 27mph until stopped. Feel it in the steering wheel. Now I’m noticing a small, pulsing vibration barely felt in the steering wheel at all speeds. No change when placed in 4x4. Any ideas?

    "...pulsing vibration..."

Does it go away in 4wd?

4wd doesn’t change it at all.

    Sorry, I missed that...

    Everthing else is stock?

Checked u-joint angles? Lift affects them; changing rake affects them even more.

The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
Sounds like you need rear axle shims.

I haven’t. Would you feel that in the steering wheel though? I’ve read that vibes felt in the steering wheel indicate a front end problem. I did notice, while under my truck that the 2 driveshafts are not aligned vertically. Looks lime the carrier bearing should be moved to the left about 1/4 to 1/2”. Is that normal? My lift wouldn’t have changed that but it seems odd.

I’m asking you to please not derail this thread with comments like that. If you have real information pertaining to the problems I’m having, I’d love to hear it.

    Hit a nerve? :crapstorm:

I say start with the needle bearing mod. It bound to happen w/ or w/o a lift.
Shim the driveshaft to drop 1", it will help.

It's been quiet for me for a month. Peace

No, but I’m here to find answers to a problem, not waste my time reading through opinions without facts to back them up.
I’ll probably get the ECGS bushing just for piece of mind.

Just make sure to mention to the ECGS rep that you want an 8" clampshell and not the 7.5". My truck was sitting pretty for a week waiting for the right part to get re-shipped.

As many as I can fabricate
If your on the brake at 27 to zero, check the runout on the brake rotors. That will pulsate and sometimes vibrate....mostly pulse.

I have vibrations even when I roll to a stop without braking.

That's what we just did with our 15. We don't have the same lift, but we started having some issues recently. Felt more like a wheel bearing issue; we were feeling a slight pulse through the floor, but no play in the wheels, all needle bearing. Problem solved.

Sorry, I was just referring to the hundreds of comments here on TW that start out; "I screwed with my truck and now it doesn't work". Everyday, someone adds to the heap. Just sayin'.

Hope you get it figured out.

I'm not sure, didn't wait long to fix it and didn't have any snow or anything in the meantime.

Regarding the needle bearing fix. Are most of you guys fixing it yourself, or is that something a real mechanic needs to tackle? I'm looking in to a slight lift and it seems you may as well fix it 'while your in there', lol.
