Thanks much....I figured after 126 pages that was already hammered out and I could avoid the chalk test!

Its been cold so at times I've been a bit lower, 35-38 psi on road. Driving/wearing well thus far.

Love my 255s, just don't love the KM2s. I will definitely be trying a different tire. If it rains at all, it's like driving on ice.

Maybe try the km3 next time, I think the they're supposed to be a lot better in the rain than the km2.
My first choice would be bfg AT's but unfortunately they just don't make a 255/85/16.

I lowered them to 36 cold and the little bit of driving in town they’re up to 40-38 and the tpms warning light is on.
I’ll see if I can reset it.

Also I notice that the truck is pulling slightly to the pass side.
Anyone have that happen? I guess the taller size would require realignment.

IDK when mine started, but my truck has about .2deg rear axle thrust to passenger that causes similar effects. I plan to have it realigned true to the rear fairly soon.

FWIW, I'm running 35 psi front/ 34 psi rear when warmed up. I did have a very slight pull to the passenger side after installation - an alignment at the dealer corrected it. If you look, there are a few comments out there regarding this - consensus speculation is that it's the tread design. who knows if that is correct or not.

Cool, I'll look around....when these threads get super long useful info gets buried!

What did the alignment cost you?
I haven't done one in a long time, I called my dealer and they said $135. Not sure if I'm better off going to somewhere else and looking to see if I could get a lifetime alignment for that price.

Did you have to reset the tpms?
...and lastly for the spare, did you bash the arms down to make it fit better? It looks like it against the driver's side spring mount.

I did have to reset the TPMS sensors after the install. Don't be surprised if it takes some time to show up on your dash, mine took about 2 days. some have said that you need to spend a certain amount of time at highway speed before it resets on the display.
I do not know what a one-time alignment at the dealership costs. I paid 299 for a lifetime alignment plan that is unlimited at my dealer in Dallas. They were also willing to push my caster forward to prevent any rub under compression and turning
For the spare, I did not bend the tabs but I did move the hanger back. After that, it went up with no problems and cleared the exhaust with plenty of room. If you look back a couple pages there is a link to the thread that discusses moving the hanger..

    Thanks again, really appreciate that!

On the way home my tpms was showing 55 and no warning light and it felt like crap.
I lowered to 36 psi cold and driving today the warning light was on and a short local drive was at 40/38.

I'll check and see if the dealer has a lifetime option, and if you can go to any dealer. I had one from firestone for my pathfinder.
I read on another post (about 35's) here that 3.5º-4º is what you want...not sure if that applies to smaller tires.

I did find a post with a bunch of links for the spare tire mount.
Part of the reason I went with the coopers is because they are smaller than the bfg's and fit under the bed.

The TPMS system was set for the 55psi that was put in at the tire shop. Reset it to your new pressure and it'll be good to go. Light comes on when the pressure drops 25% from whatever the TPMS was set for last.....

Kinda weird. I've had my 255 Cooper's for almost a year. No rub issues. Installed an icon stage 4 tubular kit in December and now I get a rub from the liner turning under full compression.

I like my ST MAXX but I might go Yokohama G003 MTs next set. I haven't given the Coopers a proper test because of some health and subsequently money issues last summer but I suspect the muddy terrain in my area will warrant MTs. Time will tell - the Coopers are very aggressive and have large voids.

Look at the Yokohama G003 MTs. Way lighter than other MTs in the same size and even lighter than Cooper ST MAXX ATs. Really awesome attention to siping in the Yokos.

That worked for the light but I still have the slight pull to the right. It seems that's a crap shoot issue with these tires, if it doesn't go away with the alignment then I'll try those yoko's when they wear out.

Anyone get any kind of road hazard on any of the tires you chose?

According to discount tire site the yokos are 55#, same as the km2s. The st maxx being 53#, lightest in this size. Toyos being the heaviest at 62#.

My Cooper's weigh in at 58.9 each on an accurate bathroom scale which is accurate to Cooper's measurements. They're also 32.8" which is smaller than other bigger brand MTs (Yoko, BFG, Toyo)

But you are right BFGs weigh in a hair lighter than Yokohama. I remember looking at Toyo weights and I feel like I remember 63lbs.

Massive bump steer problems, tires were around 40psi.

Chalked them down to 29 rear, 32 front.

Really makes the truck pop, I love them so much.

Tho... I found that I have to drive in S mode, in 5. 6th gear is basically unusable with 33s, I was getting 14-16 MPG and had difficulty cruising at 65. Almost wasn't able to.

Once I limited to 5th, 65 was easy going and my mileage is back up to 21.

You probably really need to regear or limit it to 5th or else your just going to hate them.
