Finally had time to move this damn thing. Moving that thing up the stairs was an absolute pain in the ass. We actually had to turn it upside down because it was so top heavy.



Took four people to move it:

I take back what I said about the engines being the rarest thing I’ve seen in a Tacoma at the junkyard. It’s actually the tail lights. I have never in my hundreds of visits to the junkyard ever seen an intact set of Tacoma taillights.

 

Well, sounds like im paying a 100 cuck dollars to rock auto.

 

You don’t need the entire taillight assemblies. You just need the lens.

 

Ehhh, the ones on the 4wd are super crusty. Id rather replace both of them, the tabs are broken and or striped.

 

Good thought though, I should actually go check and see if I can salvage them, order new bolts and screw in what I can. Do you know where the lenses are for sale? Seems like I could go get 200 dollar clear ones which would be besides the point of trying to save money.

 

The lenses you can buy from Toyota.

Just be happy you don’t have a 2016 Lexus GX460 taillight. It’s like $350 per side. I replaced one for a customer.

 

Geeze, just looked it up the lenses are 42 ea, Id rather just buy CAPA non toyota replacements lol.
