Payments are simply the result of a mathematical function that includes so many variables that if you are just shopping for a payment a smart F&I manager can create almost any payment you desire.

I laughed at the nitrogen scam when it first came out. I’d be willing to bet the machines are just filling the tires with the same air we breathe, about 78% nitrogen.

I tried to trade a truck once and the salesman ask “you want to know what your payment will be?” I said no, I want to know what you’re offering for my truck. Walked away after that.

Man, Idk why yall hate them so much. The penske owned yota dealership in Pharr, Tx is so easy to deal with. Ive only bought 2 vehicles there but both interactions were very pleasant. I pushed them a little with questions etc and the salesman had to call the manager over a couple times, but overall they were reasonable people. The service department is pretty reasonable as well.

As a veteran do you think you are entitled to special treatment?

I think the offense he took was that the discount didn’t include him because he was no longer active duty. He is a veteran. That doesn’t mean he didn’t do his time and should be appreciated and thanked for his service, same as a current active duty member.

LOL I used to love those guys pushing their nitrogen fill. And when you filled it up with air from your compressor after that 22% of oxygen leaked out then you had a 95% oxygen mix.

If someone offers it, great, if not not a big deal, we aren't special and shouldn't expect that kind of stuff. If you joined the military for the discounts you're doing it all wrong.

Dealer I went to gave me 4K above blue book for my trade in, no one else would match. Then gave me a discount on new vehicle that no dealership would get close to. Threw in free accessories that had to be ordered, had one of there salesman deliver them to me on a weekend. I live over an hour away from the dealership.

not all dealers are shitty, but I will say most are. I’ve bought 7 cars in the last 10 years and every experience was like what op said besides where I bought my Tacoma and 4runner.

When we bought our suburban last July the dealer is 8 miles away. We had to come to our store so my wife could sign papers. At the time I had an old gmc Sonoma with no air conditioning. The sales guy drove our new car and I brought him back in my truck. He wasn’t too happy.

I thought car salesmen were the worst until I bought a house. The real estate agents I dealt with will surely rest several tiers deeper in hell.

my real estate agent at the time wanted me to brake several federal laws regarding my VA loan to get the seller to accept my offer. It caught I would of lose several VA benefits that total over 40K a year.

I cut her loose immediately after declining to take her advice.

We had our house listed with a realtor. Long awful experience short, she said she would come get the key out of the lockbox on our back door. Our house never had a lockbox and we don’t have a back door. She never did find our key.
