    What do you guys recommend?



    I need to get my sliders painted! :D



    I was going to Line-X them but they wanted $400! :eek:



    I'm hoping powder coating will be cheaper but I have no idea...

    What about spray on bedliner??? then you can touch them up whenever.

    Also are yours weld on?? You'd have to take them off to be powder coated

    Haha sorry derek. its just the process I go through when considering mods. Powder coating would nice but it costs more, and you have less options to fix it and still have it look good. Bedliner would be cheaper. and when you do scratch it you just spray it again and youre back to normal.

    They do some excellent work, and you can by touch up for powdercoating as well. My brother had his boat trailer done there for under $700 bucks so my guess is sliders wont be that much. :D

    I didnt know either. But then my brother comes out with this can of spray on touck up for Powdercoating. Pretty cool

    Never heard of them, but then again i dont live up that way.

    I know that powder 1 does 90 percent off road rigs, buggies, etc. so they do excellent work.

    Derek , c'mon bro' think, you DO offroad your truck, powdercoating (or any other expensive treatment) isn't going to be too cost effective when you start chipping that shit off on obstacles or rocks kicked up by tires, shit dude I'd just wipe'm down good, hit them with some steel wool, wipe'm down good again w/brake cleaner or carb & choke cleaner let dry (takes about 20 sec. & doesn't leave any residue) then use a decent enamel (color of your choice) let dry overnight & call it good !!:D


    Unless of course you have givin up wheeling all together & hang out at malls in which case I no longer know you !! :eek::eek::eek:
