I want to buy a front receiver but don't want to pay new price and have not been able to find a used one yet.
I was wondering if I couldn't just slip an RV hitch down over the top of the crash bar and bolt it in place. Then have the receiver come out of the small lower grill.

Anyone know the dimensions of the front bar? How thick and how tall?

What I intend to do with it... is much less important than does it fit!o_O

I would use it to push a utility trailer or my enclosed aluminum trailer into parking spots, maybe for a bike rack. But nothing too big or heavy.

Thanks for the link I sent him a msg.

It’s aluminum and it’s not even fully welded. It’s a sacrificial component in the event of a minor crash. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

What you plan to do with it IS important. I would recommend not doing what you propose.
