Yeah, don’t ever try and shoot anybody for breaking in or stealing your car/truck. It’s not worth it.

Apparently there is a device that can read the frequency of the remote (from a distance), and use it to enter the vehicle. I do not know much about it, but I do know that locking the vehicle manually prevent this type of robbery.

When I was on the job I heard this all the time. “I locked the door”. With no other visible form of entry then its likely the door was not locked. scanners? Please. In 25 years I never saw or heard of a scanner being used to unlock a car. Shit even we still use slim Jim’s and window spreaders. The solution is lock your truck.

Everyday genius's near me had a bunch of cars stolen from their driveways spread out over a few towns over a month. Turns out everyone of them, kept the keyless start fob's in the car somewhere because the owner's were dumber than a stump, so all the thief had to do was press the button and drive-off. Lol. Finally got a couple of the crew that were driving off and it stopped.

You can read anecdotal bullshit all day long. I worked in one of the highest crime cities in America and I will tell you these are never, let me repeat never seen. Not once in a quarter of a century.

no one with a device like that is out there stealing sunglasses and bluetooths. They would be stealing the entire car. Sunglasses and bluetooths are committed by homeless trash and teens.
