I’m pretty sure this one was privately built but they did have group A and group N race cars as well as some team Mitsubishi scca cars . No homologation models though . There was even a group b rally car prototype but it fizzled out because of the homologation issue .

Man when this movie came out I was like 9 years old. I went to see it in theaters and it changed my life forever- got me into cars and motorsports for the rest of my life. I remember dreaming about an EVO 8/9 all through my teens, wanting to be just like Brian.

I thought that “one dime down” woman with the annoying Jersey accent was unique to Springfield Mitsubishi in Springfield, Pennsylvania; I googled it and that is not the case...

Turns out that Jeremy Franklin Mitsubishi in Kansas City is using the same ad campaign!

It truly is a shame that Mitsubishi has devolved into America’s largest Buy Here Pay Here franchise!

Fuck Nissan. Their new cars are not only junk, but they make their junk IMPOSSIBLE to work on, and so many of the parts are proprietary that they can literally force you into a new car well wefore you are ready to give your current vehicle up.

They have quite literally created a true throwaway car.

Their biggest issues are the fact they partnered with Renault, and that they use Jatco CVTs...

I can't tell you how many replacement CVTs we have installed into customer cars with under 100K on them for a multitude of reasons. A replacement one we installed even failed with less than 20K on it of just simple highway driving and Nissan would not honor their warranty on it. Pathetic.

When the frontier is redesigned, if Nissan does it correctly, it could pose to be a larger competitor with the Tacoma. I’m interested to see what they do with the body

140k on our 2010 Altima and it has been doing fine, but I’d like to get rid of it before the trans goes

So according to you the CVT in Nissan's are bad. One might say they are similar to the throw away frames in the second gen Tacoma by Toyota.:D
Get rid of them before they rust away.

The Tacoma frames are bad, yes, but that is not anywhere near as bad as the trash that is produced and installed mated on the side of the engine that is these Nissan transmissions. Pure throw away garbage. Lol.

And guess what...? People are still buying Tacomas, while Nissan seemingly can't even give it's vehicles away!
