It was so hard to watch man. I lost my little sister at a young age to a freak accident and i always tell myself how it isn't fair that she was taken from us....This just sickens me! How can you take a childs life and put them through something so horrific. Horrible

 

I vaguely remember this case. It was one that packs all that is wrong with people in to one fucked up story. That kid didn't deserve what happened to him. Those parents should hang. And the system failed this kid-this is as inexcusable as what happened to him in the first place.

Read an article that said they had a therapist on call. Must've been pretty emotional for people involved in the production.

Ok... so this shit is bugging me, so I'm going to ask the group. Lot's of smart people here that may be able to see an angle on this that I'm missing.

Dude shows up at my house this morning at 7:30 AM. Ringing the door bell.

Dogs go f'n psycho, for the first ring. And even more psycho when he rings again. (We thought the first ring was maybe a delivery or something, but the second ring got us up to answer the door) (yes, I was tryin to f'n sleep in today).

Jen get's to the door before I do... I let Jen talk to the guy because my resting "go fuck off and die" face was not resting at this point. I stay close to the door wary in case dude tries to pull some dumb shit.

Guy says "I lost my airpods yesterday, and my app says they are in your house." (my reaction to this would have been "I don't give a fuck what you're app says go fuck yourself before I hurt you)... Jen is nicer than I am, trying to help (answering too damn many questions).

The guy shows her his app with the icon on our address (he could have pinged them before he knocked on the door... for one).

Jen says well maybe you dropped them in the street. Dude says I've never been on this street. Then he asked if one of our kids might have found them. Jen tells him we only have one kid that lives here, he's an adult, and was working all day yesterday. etc. etc.

Ok... so who the FUCK shows up at someone's house at 7:30 in the morning to basically accuse them of stealing something?

Is this some kind of scam a simple (honest) person, like me, just can't wrap my mind around?

Not unheard of to locate his AirPods through the app but I don’t think it works like that.. the app tells you where your AirPods were last connected to your phone because the AirPods themselves don’t have WiFi or cellular to GPS them.. Just Bluetooth.

He also is wylin for coming so early I would’ve told him to fuck off too.

All in all, sketchy, and depending on his tone could be offensive. I’d stay on guard in the coming days in case he was casing your house.
