    She’s been having kidney & urinary tract issues since October. She had a vet visit about a week ago and was put on antibiotics.
    Not sure exactly sure but she was vomiting and not eating as of last night. Took her to the vet ER today and she had fluid in her lungs and was breathing shallow. Couldn’t move well and was on obvious pain.
    At 16 1/2 years old she had little chance for an easy recovery so we had to do what was right for her.
    My daughter was with me the whole time (just like with Ponce) and in reality Auggie has always been “her cat”.
    It was so difficult but we got a purr and a lick goodbye. We know she’s better off now.
