One day in my area that I avoid shopping is Wednesday. We have a "lifestyle community" (Annes Choice) and they bus the people to the Shoprite. I thought driving was not safe, between the electric handicap carts, the walkers and leaving shopping carts in the middle of the aisle :annoyed: you can really get in trouble. It's a bit much though when they forget where they left their cart....

We shop at BJs and it's the same shit as Costco....I try to set up a schedule for different things to beat the crowds. Walking in the parking lots have gotten bad as Anchovy said in his post. Life is getting crazy.

Seems this winter if you don't like the weather just wait a day and it'll change. My luck has been it's been nice on days (err, nights?) I work, but on my 3 days off, nah we'll give you wind, snow, or rain. Dammit...

I drove from the Scranton area down 476 to Allentown late morning and then back early afternoon - lots of snow on the way down. Lots of slush - right before the tunnel on the way down my TSS sensor threw a warning - covered in slush when I stopped in Allentown.

It was a last second trip. We took the 2019 Rav4 Adventure AWD and the back was filled with stuff.

Ate at Gimmicks, found and got pictures of all 32 groundhog statues and visited Gobblers Knob. Didn't have time to stop in to the library to see Phil.

I drove that same route a couple years ago in a snowstorm. Was in Scranton for an emergency call and was heading back to Philadelphia for the night. Shortly after getting on 476 South it was a complete whiteout. Luckily I was in a Ford E350 with a workbody that was loaded with tools. It was a tank, but at 10PM was scary as shit not being able to see infront of you or the lines in the road. My coworker following me was in a Transit Connect and can only imagine how sketchy that was!

She was about 4 inches from my hip, mid turn, before I punched her fender. She didn’t stop staring at her phone until I punched her fender and yelled. The kicker is she just kept driving without stopping to make sure she didn’t hit me, I kind of wish that she did knowing it would have been a hit and run

    Stuff. Things.
Some are clueless, some aren't paying attention, some are on their phones, some are just... well.. stupid

Thursday, I watched 5 people stare at me as they passed me coming out of a cross street none let me out, blue lights on, with a fire truck sitting across the street with red lights going, trying to get to the station for our second apartment fire this week. Blue Lighters are volly's going to the station or scene depending on how rural you are.

... I gotta get other stuff done first.. like the UCA's, then the Exaust (or vise versa), then the compressor from Homer, aaaaaaaand then the rack and paint job on the cap.... then maybe airhorn...
