Honeyco love you no shit buy you air conditioned Honda in morning.

Never dreamed I'd end up in Minnesota and kind of short on monkey meat on a stick here. Hell short of monkeys for that matter. But came close to reproducing it was even able to find some calamansi juice and banana ketchup for the marinade and glaze.

Aside from the ass that has to be one of the ugliest helicopters every built. It looks like something a four year old would build out of legos, just keep stacking more things on top of other things and call it a helicopter.

Yup. No more collecting the boat’s trash for a week and dumping it on the flight deck. No more fire hose gauntlet, no more doing anything that someone may get offended over. They just pretty much give you your shellback card now and do some stupid ceremony on the forecastle (fo’c’sle for you non Navy folks). My nephew just got his card and was telling me about the ceremony.

I would say not really. Told my nephew to go
Find the fattest mother fucker on the boat and kiss his belly then he can claim he’s somewhat of a shellback.

To clairfy some of the comments about a ship vs. a boat.

According to the Navy a boat is small enough to be carried aboard a larger vessel, and a vessel large enough to carry a smaller one is a ship. Generally speaking.

If you're ships company you are allowed to call what ever you are on a boat. "I am heading back to the boat" when on liberty.

Most ships have nicknames. The USS Robinson DDG-12 was the Rocking Robie. Real ships rock, as do tin can sailors. USS Hermitage LSD-34 was the happy hemorrhoid. Although we made underway every time as a gator freighter unlike the Spiegel Grove. Coral Sea CV-43 was the Coral Shitter. Rusted through and through but took her around the world in 83. But no one messes with the name America. USS America CV-66. It is the definition of America.

    Just saying...

LOL you put a smile on my face

You are not a shellback until you have climbed through rotted garbage and been beat with salt water soaked split fire hoses. And get your face rubbed into King Neptune's belly.

Did my twilight tour on recruiting duty in Asheville, NC and retired in 95. Used to do Chiefs initiation at the Delta Force compound at Pope\Bragg. Heard they can't even use live animals now.. :(

Boats and ships are the same thing, also anchors can be made with water... there has been extensive discussion about the truth of both statements. :D:boink:

Yeah, coming from the big green weenie that has more boats then the Navy :p

The bluejackets manual defines it. As does the U.S. Naval Institute https://www.usni.org/magazines/nava...ctober/bluejackets-manual-ships-and-boats-and

Then again nothing wrong with using Google or Websters, although source of truth is not as accurate.

Hmm I work at the number one ranked hospital in the US. And as a patient at the same place have more than once had a medical provider do a google search and give me information based on the google search, and apologize at the same time, usually from Wikipedia. Bastages, I am the technical specialist for electronic content management there LOL.

But it’s Webster’s dictionary, not Wikipedia. The only other accepted dictionary by most Ivy League schools is oxfords. Let’s be honest, we both know military doctrine can be incorrect and is hardly the authority on proper grammar and usage.

    That said

WTF are you English are something and stuck on Websters?!

Real wold shit. There are 2 types of vessels. Surface targets and submarines.

Don't really give a damn what the English think especially after pulling into there on a NATO Cruise with a friend from Alaska and going to the birth place of fly fishing. They are all fucked up, stocked trout on their limestone streams and pay per rod stretch of stream. Although the lass I met in a pub that took the me there was well worth it. Then again the fairer sex has always been my down fall...

Posted the picture of the Admiral (well one of his dogs) we were in Nuclear Power School together in 1977. The State Dept. asked him to run the Australian sub program and vamp up their subs. They made him the Secretary of the Australian Navy for their submarine upgrade program.

I met 2 girls form Tn. at Daytona beach on a weekend in 77 and spent a week with them until we ran out of money. Busted. At mast the skipper said I was unreliable. Steve said Sir there are 2 young ladies from Tn. that would debate the unreliable part..

Gawd I'd sail to hell and back for him. And a few others.

That is my kitchen table and chairs that I gave him at his house in SD.

Webster’s is an American dictionary. Oxford is English... just saying.

Also you Navy guys need more women in your lives, all that pent up sexual tension in your boats is making you take things far to serious. I don’t actually care what it’s called, but because you seem to care so much... it’s a boat.

Sorry but that’s kind of how this thread goes.

Now that I am in my 60's have to admit that I am not as flexible as I used to be, and do yoga to combat it. I will admit that is is a lot of work but helps in many other areas.. But not admiit it out loud.

And use props when the occasion comes up.

Depends on your experiences. I expect to experience a very wet bed. Highly recommend libearator sex furniture. The wedge is a good place to start. But they offer a lot beyond that.

Order Ban which is sold at home depot and normally will take care of dog accidents will also take care of the protein smells with a squirter. Which if you are doing things right will often happen. Spray bottle of Odor Ban helps a lot. Once again just saying...

Ignorance on your part. Plain and simple.

The first time it happened was WTF happened? Most men freak and run.

No, there is a huge difference between that and squirting based on many factors.

Ignorance is the difference, belief me it took a long time to figure it out based on many real life experiences.

Chemical stream is a lot different between urine and estrogen. I was balancing chemical equations by the 7th grade.

Can't say that I blame you for your ignorance but it is what is it. We are still trying to understand it.

You don't identify your military experience, if you even have any. I am going to with you have Jack Shit. Let alone the 3 shields of Education, Practice, and Research.

    Am I wrong?
