Was gonna say Ridgeline...I have a feeling you “swing” that way..based on your infatuation with @OVTune Mat being pant-less.

I'd say this actually substantiates the rumors flying around that the 2021 WRX STI will offer 400hp. Everyone knows the reason the BRZ/FRS/86 didn't have a turbo was because it would compete too strongly with the WRX/STI. By adding more power to the STI line, you can more comfortably give the 86 the power it needs

The main reason that I heard was the lack of space.

That is an interesting thought though. They didn't seem to cannibalize sales of the WRX or Impreza Sport?

The WRX offered 50-60 something horsepower more than the BRZ/86 if I'm not mistaken though. People will want the extra power, so cannibalization of sales wasn't as likely

I think I remember hearing something about lack of space too, but the aftermarket community quickly proved that that was BS

Hell, it's BS even without confirming fitment of aftermarket turbo kits because Weapons Grade Performance shoehorned a LS2 in there lol look it up, it's called BRZ06, and they'll sell it as a kit or do the labor for you. Only adds 60lbs to the overall weight of the car and you get to keep your air-con lol

    Interesting.

The only turbo kit that I saw was pretty early on and was mounted ahead of the rear bumper.

The LS is a pretty compact motor, but like you said, if one can be dropped in, there is certainly room for a turbo.

my god is 0471A with the FOB tune better. Engine is smoother, less clutch slip and bucking coming away from stop signs, and less hesitation when you request more throttle. I didn't think it could get better.

2.0 FOB, my body is ready. So ready lol

I'm sure the thread will blow up when 2.0 releases. But will we get an "official" announcement?
