Since the first test run, I've been working on making sliders for the truck. I think the first version came out well. What do you guys think? Should I make it a little wider?

I'm also working on the engine bay. I've printed the Knight's Custom engine bay for the Proline Metric.

Update: Sorry it's been a while, I'm currently attending a Corrections Academy and limited on my free time. I haven't forgotten about the build, I'm just focusing on making it through the academy. I did ordered a ATL chassis rails from Brazin RC. They are going to extend the standard frame to 370mm, so the new rails will be one solid piece and will lower the center of gravity as well.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Keep it up and thanks for the updates!

I still need to do finish some of the body work on the truck and the trailer. The trailer is pretty close to being done tho. Im looking for some scale accessories to put into the bed of it.

I updated the front bumper to fit a bigger light bar and hold two pod lights. The light bars are pretty bright, now it's ready for a night test run. My goal is to get the body finished by the summer.

Is this what all you people do before you build your actual truck?

This is really really cool though. How much time put into this thing?

Definitely looking great. Mine is so basic compared to yours.

Can't speak for Nastybogging but I built my truck first. :hattip:

Lol its what I'd do if I had a 3rd gen. For my 2nd gen I have it a few things done to it. I do want to build a trailer out of bed for a camping setup.

Your looks great, all the small details you have done to make it look like your 1:1.

So I did a thing today, I made mounting points for the tie downs. I been slowly collecting scale accessories for the build. So far my favorite is the diecast dirt bike. What are some of the accessories you have on your rigs, RC or 1:1? I'm working on making an awning for the roof rack.

That bike and tie downs do look good and fit the build. About the only other ones I'll be adding are traction boards and fire extinguisher which you can find almost anywhere.

Dirt bike and straps look good in the back!

I got some traction boards, gas cans and arb fridge. Of course stocked with some cokes!

I do have a few other items laying around. I just don't know how to incorporate them into the build yet. Maybe I'll cut up some twigs from outside and make them look like firewood, I also could make some sleeping bag rolls for a camping feel. The little coke bottles are amazing! I'm going to have to pick up some up and get some traction boards too.
