    Huh?

She lives at my house with her dad (he's 82 or 83..let him live out his days there), and I've got the apartment to myself.

She comes over to stay from time to time; I keep it platonic with the other girls.

What kind of shell are you getting?

I was actually talking to a customer about it yesterday since I love my RTT, but only use it on outings. A shell would provide versatility...

    Not at all.

    8 years together.

I moved her dad in with us about 5 years into the relationship which was around the time I bought the house.

Last year we decided to not be together, but we've remained exclusive towards one another. Her dad is old, has a lot of health issues, and over the years her and I have taken care of him.

We weren't going to let us not being together affect him and his lifestyle he's grown accustomed to; living in the outskirts, tending to a large garden of lemon trees, vegetables, etc. He loves it and deserves all I can give him.

The house is paid off and they pay the expenses.

I got an apartment closer to work, in the city.

Nice thing is, I've done some projects on the house at my leisure whereas it would've been more difficult/stressful had we both been living together.

    It works, trust me.

No, her dad's been on SSI for many years.

He can't work or do anything at all, and he wouldn't be able to afford living anywhere.

My SO goes to college full time; we're on great terms still and it's the least I can do for someone I love and care about.

IDK about you guys, but I'm the type of person that'll give you the shirt off his back if that's all I had...and you needed it.

It would make a ton more sense if you just didn't say SO I guess. Seems more like a tenant. But hey whatever works right? :)

That's very true, but it helps differentiate the girls that hit on me, bring me stuff at work, etc when talking to Jake

I make an "ok" living, and I don't need a lot to live off of, so I'd rather give back.

She's given me 8 wonderful years as a partner, and gives me more time as a great friend.

Can't think of any other way I can be there for her/them.

Lol true, but she still comes over and stays the night, and we still spend some time together.

Plus it's been nice having my own place; I've never really had my own spot since I've always had a significant other damn near all my life that I shared a place with:rofl:
