Do you peeps change your own tires or get a shop to do it? Changed the tires on the KTM last time so I am tempted to change the tires on the grom myself. Didn’t know how much different it is though.

PSA: Ice is slippery and hard to ride up hill on. Up until that point it was a nice ride with just a little water, mud and snow to ride through.

I found it on the bottom of the seat. I was surprised about how loose the lock collar was..

Get a Honda CT90 or CT110. You can pick one up with a title for cheap if you're patient and they're stupid easy to work on. Get one with a cdi ignition if you can 'cause points suck, then keep the carb clean and it'll run forever.

I had the Ninja out for a few hours today and it felt great. Once I got it home, I adjusted the rear brake light switch and made a few other tweaks.
Thank God spring is almost here. :taco:

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Looks like a good time was had!:bikewhoops:
I put some MotoZ Tractionators on my 1190r. It helped a good bit in the snow, but when it comes to ice ya just f’d.
    Good looking sled too ;)

The Mitas E07+ on there did really well in the mud and snow. On ice the rear just started spinning once I lost momentum. I got the bike stood back up, tried walking it up the hill and fell over again. I pivoted it downhill but it was so slick I couldn’t keep my footing picking it back up. I was about to sled it back down until a guys in a bronco and 4runners came along and gave me a hand picking it up and sliding down hill back to a bare spot.

It was a pretty great day riding all things considered.

Started the BBK install yesterday. Pic is from last night. Today I swapped out the oil pump, installed a bronze oil pump drive gear, Impact 560 cams, and jugs. Now I just need to check squish on both cylinders, install the new heads and rocker boxes, rebuild/rejet the carb, install the new ignition, and put everything back together. 20200229_202454.jpg

I could see dry dirt above the stretch of ice and was hoping I could just get lucky and carry through to it. Honestly it’s probably good that I didn’t make it cause I’m sure I’d have run into another stretch of ice and had to turn around and somehow make it down the hill and around the corner on ice. There was a 4runner that had already slid off the side of the road into the ravine about 25’ down and I wasn’t planning to join it.

Just got my bill to renew my insurance. Its $90 for the year if I pay in full. Seems low for a 2019 bike, but im not going to complain

That's cheap. I pay $200/yr for my two bikes (liability/comprehensive) through Allstate.

2019 Harley Sportster 48 and Progressive. It might be a multi vehicle discount and no speeding/accidents for 6+ years too

I have my truck and my beater on there too (2008 Honda Fit)
