I've had mine for over a year and they still look new. He use to have thread here but he took it down. I think people were copying his designs.

Since my truck started out it’s life naked (‘15 pros didn’t have any decals there) I decided I wanted a little something but I wanted it to be very subtle. I went with custom made matte black decals on my black pro.

I removed mine in the first 48 hours of having my taco. Love it. Everyone has an TRD OR DC here in CO... it is nice to be a little different.

THANK-YOU to all that remove those logos ;)
[though i will admit, i am looking to put a custom one on . .. ]

I got my first taco a month ago, after 4 months of searching. . .
Looking for a 2nd gen MT Access Cab OR is not the easiest ask -

It was decal/less & the dealer didn't realize it was an OR
It was listed as not having the locker/priced accordingly aka -2K; the color was also listed wrong..

I was already ALL OVER Autotrader & I would run the Toyota Vin/Decoder on anything that looked decent, so I figured out right quick that this one had the trim I wanted.
I rang them the next morning and asked about the locker - I could see the button, but I have seen faked ones where the button controls a light bar etc.
Sales dude sent me a photo of the locker do/dad on the underside rear of the truck just to confirm it was legit.

I drove down the next AM - 3 hr - took it to a local mechanic to do a pre/purchase inspection and it passed with flying colors; it was a 2nd car and was kept immaculately, not a single leak nor anything loose even.. and living in Flagstaff = no rust..

My spouse chose to sit this one out, after getting on my nerves when looking at a prior candidate and I had asked the dealer about possibly delivering it - I had bought it by 1pm and they had it flatbed/ed to my house - 3hr away - by 6pm that day.. for free! I have never been so happy - -

2013 V6 MT OR AC 53K spruce mica

If there was ever a time that I felt like I won the lotto, it was this day.
I got what i wanted to a T, in amazing shape with lower miles than expected, lower price & it went as seamless as could be..

Here she is, after a bath!

And my thoughts a 45K trucks shouldn't have any BS decals. A nice badge would have been more effort Toyotas part but don't matter I debaged and love the elegant clean look

Throwing in my 2c: hate emblems and decals. Vinyl wraps are fine but it has to be most/all of the truck

I used isopropyl alcohol to get the residue off. But when I pulled my stickers off, there was almost no residue anyways.

My truck is barely 2 years old garage kept and it left the entire decal residue tried using 100 proof alcohol didn't do much. I want to try 3m adhesive remover see if it helps

Factory 2-inch lift kit with Toyota Heritage Grille. Added some heritage color tri-color vinyl to hood and rear.
I just removed my 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4X4 rear stickers with a heat gun. Since the truck was only a month or so old, it came off with a little heat only. I'm searching for a new replacement design now...I already added the new hood vinyl.

never tried on my Tacoma but I've used a rubber eraser wheel I picked up from a autobody supply store. took off any decal I've eve had to, including heavy outdoor vinyl used for DOT #'s. No paint damage at all. I did have to buff it out a bit because of fading but nothing from the removal. a freind of mine builds cars for SEMA shows and he was the one to tell me about them.

I removed mine, and I have no regrets! Makes the truck look clean and less busy. Easy to remove also.
