It's not an appendage. It's a bug with antennae and a large nose. Geez these guys think you have a pervy mind.

Granted, it was either a big schnoz or a small pickle. My pervy mind keeps my pickle happy.

Wife's an RN in the East Bay. Doing my best to not worry and stay positive although I'd rather have her walk TFO. Already been through one AFB transfer. Fck that mickey mouse BS. Its like playing a damn game of russian roulette. You think, is this the day she gets a case that hasn't been tested and turns out positive when they do finally get results back days later? Was just me and her, probably wouldn't worry as much but with the kid... yep. Helicopter parent like@Fernando

Eh, mine is an RN working at a non-profit in Yolo County. Neither of us are too worried... Really. Isn't any worse than the flu and the people actually getting really sick are the ones who would die from the flu anyway. I also work on base, so I'm at near US ground zero as they come.

No disrespect to base personnel meant at all. When I mentioned mickey mouse I meant the way the hospital handled it internally.

None of the base personnel actually worked with the quarantine. It was all done by HHS and the Federal Marshals. Not a single base person was in contact with the patients. I just know some of the handlers were allowed to do some stuff on base, not sure where all they went and if they possibly infected any of us, but we will see in a few days how many of us are dying.

Just kidding. Only those with weak immune systems will die. Damn sickies. (while that part was meant jokingly it has a small bit of truth to it)
