Same. I considered a dash cam or head unit to double as one but once you hope in and look down it's easy to realize of uncomfortable that would be.

I did this the mod for keyless entry: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/diy-docooler-keyless-entry.631996/ and am (probably) overly excited about it.

I appreciate the rest of the suggestions in the thread as well!

    Yea, forgot about that one.

My top upgrades when I bought my truck were
    1)alarm system with remote locks
    2) ac
    3) supercharger after I saved up some money
    4) then the radio
    5) replaced seat with Corbeau seats and the brackets from them

Heated seat covers sure are cozy. I’ve got these ones. They work great, have an automatic on function too so pass one only comes on when somebody is sitting there.

Have had drivers side one for probably a year with no problems. Just added the passenger one recently.

"#3 Better seats. If you can fab metal or know someone who can, then fab seat mounts and ditch Tacoma or 4Runner seats all together. 3rd Gen 4runner seats are nice, but they are hard to find, and for the price people want for them, they are the same garbage as what you have already, only that garbage has been sprayed with air freshener.[/QUOTE]

These worked really well for me since I had to ditch the original bench seat. Picked up a set of 2005 buckets off of craigslist for $100 bucks and purchased the brackets. This simple change made the biggest difference in the world for comfort and drivability.

I removed the OEM cloth covers and added these style of seat heaters to an old Metro I used to commute in. Lots of labor but I really liked leaving the look of the seats original. I needed hog rings and hog ring pliers. Not a bad job just took but of time being first time I ever messed with something like that.

Warm seats when you have 2-3 months of COLD is nice. But for the ex, she haf those seat warmers on more like 8 months out of the year:D:rofl:
