    I know this sounds crazy. But would it be possible/reasonable to paint one of the White? I understand the scratching potential, but since many are painting them black or powercoating (I honestly don't know exactly how that differs from standard painting) them, I can't help but wonder about White.

    Basically, I really like the stock/clean look, but would like a beefed up plate bumper. Honestly, a plate bumper is probably overkill for my needs, but still interested.

    I've seen some aftermarket bumpers painted to match body color. and on white trucks I actually think it looks really good. I say go for it. :)
