I used a separate monitor because it was simple, and didn't require hacking any factory wiring.

I've always been a huge fan of fire trucks, and especially brush fire and forest service trucks (avatar). The front of my truck is one of the top reasons I bought the truck. Take off angle is amazing, and with a ARB bull bar the look and utility of the vehicle is outstanding.

I feel ya OP. I have a long uphill stretch with a curve in it that the ground is invisible for awhile. It requires looking out your side window to judge where you are and when to turn. A front cam is your best option.

I was up in the mountains a couple weekends ago and had the cameras facing my suspension. It's interesting to watch what goes on down there.

I am not looking forward to offroading my 17 sport for that alone. I know I will get used to it but there will always be that little bit of uncertainty that will linger.

Well if this isn't the epitome of a TW circle jerk.

OP: Makes post complaining about something they should've realized during purchase
TW: Makes a variety of posts, some actually helpful, most just telling the OP how shitty the truck that they also drive is
OP: Realizes mistake and tries to change direction
TW: No fuck you, you bought a mall crawler, how dare you drive on dirt
    OP: *crickets*
TW: Now arguing amongst themselves about things only loosely connected to the OP

Agreed. Hoping to install a front camera this summer!

    Wish it came stock.

Starbucks by the office has a 2-3 foot incline in to the parking lot, eyes in the sky. Thankfully my wife or a coworker gets out and spots me in safely to my iced latte or strawberry refresher.

I'm always traveling with others, and using a spotter on tight trails. If you're out there alone, and slam into a rock, I'm sure you're prepared for the 17 mile packout, and the $3,000 rescue bill..lol

Really wish they understood my needs for a conflict free kale smoothie. I’m gluten intolerant and my energy levels crash, which kicks off my bipolar anxiety... it’s hard being disabled.

I have the faux hood scoop and find it difficult to see over. It is the most ridiculous thing on my truck. It’s usually the first thing people comment about whether asking if it’s functional or how absurd it looks. The front camera helps but I’ve found trying to drive while looking at the head unit is disorienting.
