Are we doing anything for meet ups in the spring?

 

Some talking about a cheesesteak meetup in the spring. If I had to guess sometime April

Anyone in NEPA want to help me install my ARB Bumper? Shops around the area are asking way too much for labor. I think I can do install myself but don’t have a garage or tools to make it happen. LMK if anyone’s interested in helping out. I’ll bring the beers!

 

Just where are you Northeast Pa?? It could cover a lot of area depending how you define things

Uninteresting fact of the day, there's a North East, PA that's exactly where you'd think it was.

Just east of Erie in PAs chimney on the border of NY.

 

An ARB install on a 3rd gen is a pretty involved process, just FYI. Especially if you're putting a winch on as well.

Took me a day and a half by myself.

Isn't the chimney the NW in the state, by the Great Lakes? Just asking......
I mean, if we are going to be wise-guys, let's be accurate. Just east of Erie is still NW, just sayin'.

Question, I was also going to ask if anyone had a rear bumper with hitch. Would it be easier to install an after-market hitch that bolts to the frame if you could not locate a toy bumper?

 

It has been a while, but IIRC, if you unbolt the hitch on the 2nd gen, the bumper is attached to it, or if you only take off the bumper, the hitch is still attached to the frame.
Those hitches, whether on a Taco, or a Sequoia, are rust generators. I have one rusting in my back yard, which is probably still sound, just rusty AF.
