It's only available at the distillery, so no one will happen across it. If anyone travels through Bardstown, though, they can pick one up. $30, I think? Paying a bit for the novelty, but the whiskey is pretty good, still. Like a very sweet Elijah Craig Barrel Proof.

No successful responses yet, so bumping one time. I now have 2 bottles from 2009. Willing to trade, pay for shipping if needed, if anyone has a 2008 bottle. Thanks everyone!

You're looking for a "barreled on" from 2008?

I'm sure you could get this trade on one of the secondary markets on FB. PM me if you need some help with any of the groups.

Correct - 2008 barreled. I know EW does a 12, so that's my backup plan as the 2008 is in stores now.

No facebook for me, so that's out. Also would trade for a 2008 barreled Blanton's in exchange for a current Blanton's bottle plus some cash if anyone happens to have a bottle hiding somewhere! Bonus points if it's from May 2008!

Those are impressive collections. There are a few guys in one of the Booker's groups that I'm in that have these absolutely bonkers collections. They are a sight to behold.

Congrats on the trade! Have to have a Van Winkle in the cabinet, right?!?!? Getting a sample of Handy to boot means you still get to say you've had that, too!

As for that PC, I saw it on Reddit. The guy who built it answered a few questions. The craftsmanship is absolutely beautiful. I didn't see if it was in that link, but the plumbing alone was something like 20 hours of work! Very precise.

I'm afraid that is outside of my abilities. I built a Home Theater PC about 7 years ago that is still very capably plugging away, but that was easy in comparison. Motherboard, RAM, a Blu-Ray drive, then a shitload of storage all stuffed in a big metal case.

I showed it to the guy I'm working on the app/website with. He does woodworking. He is confident that he could build the case. He apparently has a coworker that makes high-end PCs for mining Bitcoin and the like who could build the PC portion. I think my only role would be to drink a bottle of whiskey until it's empty.

I don't have a need for a badass PC case, but what would be a useful take on that concept for me would be to build a little whiskey barrel themed speaker. Have a slot to mount a tablet, put a power supply and little amp inside it, hook up a couple of speakers, then have a little jukebox.

I'd be down for that project.

Just a quick update. All of the Glencairn glasses have been run now and we are starting to pack up everyone's orders to ship out. We did a frosted version of the whole glass as a special order for someone here and we are also going to do a couple of variations on it once we get more stock in (supplier shorted us). I'll let the person who ordered post a pic of the frosted if he would like. :)

Be on the lookout for your PayPal requests as we box them up we will start sending them out.

Again I want to say a HUGE thank you to all the awesome people here for supporting us.

It is really good, but plenty of equally good bourbons available for much less $.

They just ramped up their production in a big way though. Hopefully the quality is retained.
The Costco price is the best I've seen.
