Thanks for the welcome and the explanation! Haven’t noticed any lean on my 3rd gen in a month if ownership. Hopefully I’m one of the lucky ones.

What Rob62 said. To avoid the lean on the drivers side (recommended by Bilstein so don’t worry about it).

I just got back from the topper dealer. ARE MX, vented windoors on both sides, fold-down front slider, carpet and roof tracks. Now to start the interior build. Looking forward to camping out of this!C1E602A1-4F45-44DC-925A-1DBB8129D5FB.jpg8C1FF69B-6265-43AB-9ED3-DCD4C35EBEBB.jpg

That's my dream cap there! Nice job! Originally, when I priced out a long bed version it was $2,400 on the truck and out the door. I wonder what the same thing in a short bed would cost....................

Thats the cap ive been leaning towards as well. Whats the deal with the little window up top? Havent seen one in real life to get an idea of that.

It’s not a window. Apparently, it was a window on the initial runs of the MX but they had water leaks from the seals. The shell mold still has the recess in it but ARE now just puts a piece of plastic up there to give the window appearance. ARE does have a very expensive light bar option that mounts there but other than that it’s just for show.

Bringing this thread back up for anyone to add pictures. I'm looking into getting a camper and was hoping there were more pictures of DCLB's with 33's and the midrise. I'm not as much a fan of it on a stock DCLB, but I've seen one around Denver that had a lift and looked great. Also fine with looking at more roofline sized ones because that's what I always thought I was going to go with.

Awesome, this is just what i was looking for, anyone else think a 5.5' bed would be the perfect bed length on these DC'S? For aesthetics and function.

This might not be what you're looking for but thanks for reviving this thread. Just got a new camper for my DCLB and pretty stoked to paint it or start working on it.
