Got the truck on all fours after installing the new shocks. Still gotta put the skids back on though.

I was expecting to be sky high on 700lb springs but I’m not. Preload is backed way down though.

It's pretty straight forward I think. Trying to get the spindle to lay level is the hard part.

Right, My complaint about my experience with Krown was I think they didn't do all the places I thought they should have... Next time I'll read up on the brochure a bit closer. I'm not opposed to drilling access holes because it gives the krown product the access to areas which they wouldn't have normally and in theory protect things better, but when I had mine done, they didn't ask me if it was ok to drill any holes. Next time i'm over working on the my project I'll check to see if there were some there already that they may have used.

specifically areas which would be where salt accumulates (e.g. when I inspected things top of the frame rail seemed dry, the top of the gas tank, etc)

I'm not knocking the product, I'm knocking the application :)

Is it as simple as pressing the hub out of the bearing, and then the bearing out of the spindle, plus a couple seals?

I'll see if I can get anywhere with my 12 ton press and some heat.

From what I have read most people are saying 20ton press minimum. Also, you may :crapstorm: your pants as the hub bearing explodes out of the spindle.

Energys should last longer since theres more urethane to absorb impact whereas the thin sheet on whitelines gets stressed

If I remember correctly, yes. There is a snap ring keeping the bearing in. Hopefully the hub doesn't come out with the inner race still on it. That can be a bit annoying trying to cut off without damaging the hub.

Do you have a write up on this? Or a link to a write or decent cideo on it? I have almost all the parts for mine and I'm getting ready to go this myself.

They turned out great on yours btw.
