Hi, looking to get back in a Tacoma after 3 years in a F150. I came across this. 2019 TRD 4x4. Seem like a good deal? I would definitely try to negotiate down a bit. I’m also probably gonna trade my f150 in

33.7? I just paid 36 plus TTL for a new 2020 (4x4 DCSB). If I had waited until now, rather than December, I could have probably gotten down to 34.5 or so. For a few hundred bucks, 5k less miles and who knows what else, seeing a brush guard and AM tires on a new truck traded in after 5k sends my spidey senses tingling. Bounced it off a tree in the woods and fixed it and traded it in before it hit the carfax, would be my suspicion.

I agree with houla, you can get in a new one for a little more and know what's been done to it.

I'm going to guess an airman (Robins AFB) got in a bit over their head with a new truck and mods, and realized they couldn't afford it after about six months of payments.

Looks like he overspent and had to let it go. I don't know what lift or sliders are on it but if they're quality and you can get em down a few grand, it's a pretty good deal.

I'd try to get them to ditch that damage multiplier on the front, see if you can get them down some on that.

    Oh.

    Then jump on it.

Looks like a bolt on. Just unbolt it and craigslist it for the next guy.

That is ridiculous. You have quite the imagination.

OP, I don’t think it’s a good price. I’m in the market myself atm and I see similar trucks for slightly cheaper. Haggle with them, of course.

I looked at a used tacoma that had a clean car fax (advertised as such), found some of the stuff in the front clip area was aftermarket and the hood was just barely not lining up right. Asked around and landed on a body shop that had replaced the entire front end after the owner rear ended someone on the highway, confirmed with vin. Hadn't shown up on carfax yet. Traded it in to Toyota a few days after it came back from the shop with only 15k miles. So, yeah I'm cautious about low mileage/recent year trade ins.

Sometimes it's just the simple answers of not being able to afford it or wanting something different. I thought mine was an "Infantry special," but it was some rich-ass dude who got it as a toy and needed something bigger. Sat on the lot for four months because it was a manual and their price was too high. Got it down where I wanted it, Carfax was clean, job done.

Seems nice but a little on the high side, however you haven't started negotiating yet. Condition means a lot and good condition isn't necessarily guaranteed by photos and low mileage, especially with an 'off-road' type truck such as this. I would check it out real good.

Yeah, there are plenty of fine trucks to buy - I found that one so now I get skeptical and definitely would be looking for this for low mileage trade ins. It's not what everything will be, for sure :)

Toyota doesn't haggle much on used trucks, plus incentives and toyota care etc. with new trucks, honestly for that high for a TRD OR, unless that thing is loaded with tech and premium and the works, I'd just get a new one for a lower APR and it would probably end up being cheaper.

You're in new 2020 price range, don't pay for that aftermarket shit, it's not worth anything. If you insist, have a reputable offroad shop, or knowledgeable buddy look it over, especially the lift.
