I gotcha I gotcha. Yeah that thing drove like it was on rails, a lot of fun. The new ones are nice too, just a different beast.
And ISFs are definitely coming down in price. That would easily be the biggest baddest family Lexus you could own. And that engine threw my head back into the seat... Torquey MFer of an engine. I love that is was 5.0L too:cool:like the old 'Stangs :D

I have been looking at ISF's again recently. On the fence about trying to find a good ISF when the GX is paid for or waiting and saving up for a GSF.

The 250 was solid, the 350 is even more power. The IS F is a whole new level.

    Me, too!

I test drove a used AWD 350 a few years back, but I didn't think I could afford it. Then I went and spent about $6K more on the Tacoma... Then I went and spent more on the 4runner...

I want something fun for cruising around on Sundays:cool:

Maybe when the 4runner is paid off.

last time i was in Chicago that i recall it was probably right before the rush hour in mid afternoon, i just got off the long-ass tollway 88 somewhere outside of the quad cities, then hit the 290 (going 90 what else lol) all the way to the lake and found my way from there.

i have avoided tolls going north towards WI by jumping onto US41 where it splits off from 94 and go that highway to almost the WI border (its been awhile (more than 10yrs) since i was on those roads but i will make it there once you get a mod/meet/cookout day in your neighborhood)
have never found it difficult to navigate the Chicago arteries with nothing but a paper map, and neither Milwaukee or St Louis... KC is just a clusterfck laid out is all i was saying and i have been there enough to know a thing or two because i have seen a thing or two.

:hungry: i can sit awhile in traffic and row the gears all day no biggie :ballchain:

KC isn't hard. There are plenty of signs, side roads, and locals to follow.

it was probably just the construction that closed 70 through downtown area and i had to reroute, but that whole area around the rivers has always bewildered me :( so i avoid it the best possible

also a spot on i29 in north KCMO is oddly strange

its the LAW in my state!!!

we force you to wear your helmet once you cross the MO river

i sometimes see a gathering of bikes parked on the interstates shoulder strapping them on when they come over to cruise

Want to know whats way easier? Waze and Google Maps. Waze is better, but it doesn't work as good in less populated area's or area's people don't use Waze often.

having a phone or tech other than a radio in my ride would no doubt distract me i think and lead to bad things...

now that i have a chuwi tablet i can figure out how to download maps in advance and view them offline and/or pull into any number of McDonalds with WiFi access :)

i was parked in Boulder CO getting the hookup at McDonalds, it worked well
