TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

Yah I already welded a straight pipe on so seeing how I can simulate or at least get the sensors to work in some way. I’ll check that out

 

i have a pair of the O2 bung extensions im not using. they distance the sensor. maybe someone else could chime in with their thoughts on that.

 

They do the job. How well? Well, that's anyone's guess. My sensor has yet to burn out, so...

 

I’ve used the spacers in many different applications. They work differently in every situation. Different sensors, different ambient temp readings, different spacing, etc. I had good luck in my BMW’s with them. Not so good results in the Toyotas. I’ve also used Cat Sims. Those have worked well in every situation.

Oooooo. i would like to see what a bimmer turbo is about. I'll take a turbo 850 please. 5 series would be great too.

 

Currently just an exhaust. However, it is being fab'd for future turbo potential.

 

would like to see that. Mod with forethought of mods to come.

 

I’m open to anything that doesn’t require the $2k ELOM Cat.

 

Is that the Marlin Crawler LCA reinforcement kit? Looks good!

 

The URD universal O2 sim kit can be used on any vehicle. And they work great. It has little rheostats in it that can be adjusted to the particular vehicle so that it works correctly. But it does require that there is a functioning O2 sensor wired into the ecu and it sounds like you will have that shortly.

 

I got a kit sitting in my room that I want to get burnt on but my BAMF skid is in the way of where some of the reinforcement would get burnt on.

 

I will have one but if it works for Will the the guess. seems like a few options. Whichever one is cheapest

 

That it is. Extremely stout! For basically $20 more that the Total Chaos tabs alone, it is a no brainer.

This kit fits with the TRD skid. Not sure which kit you have?

 

In preparation for 2.3 pulley application, I looked to order the proper length belt (69"). Interestingly enough the Gates HD vs RPM is over double the price difference. Not sure if it is worth that much extra. K060690HD vs K060690RPM.

 

That is the frame control arm reinforcement kit right?

I don't have a TRD skid.

It's worth it's weight in gold. Seriously.

Its worth the extra money imo. Just dont be like me and screw up while cutting it or things will get expensive in a hurry when you have to buy another

 

I wonder if these interfere with an LCA skid like BAMFs or ICONs?

This is worth cutting off my TC and welding these on instead.
