That wouldn't surprise me in the least. I think the entire world of college football suffers from a lack of respect for others. I probably see things through Crimson glasses, but I don't think we're known as a place with particularly nasty fans... Like La. State, for example.

Sorry for your experience. I hate fans like that.

Looks like we've held on to #2 in the BCS for now. I don't care what Kirk Herbstreit says... if we go undefeated in the SEC and win the SEC championship, Penn State will NOT jump over us and leave us out of the championship game.

feel free to refer back to the bammer clemson thread for my particular experience with bama fans

first experience...didnt hear bad or good things before the trip

they now rank in my world with FSU, UGA, and USC (but my experience with USC is pretty biased)

**edit** i think i was referring to a thread on another board...but im pretty sure i discussed my experience here too

Haha, no hard feelings. Stafford actually was joking about it after the game that he had never had so much beer before in his life.

Kirk Herbstreit is a fool. He lacks journalistic integrity and as well as loyalty, two things that are a MUST for college football analysis. Lets break it down. Last year, who was the one who broke the story Les Miles had signed w/ Michigan when in fact it was a BS story? Kirk. This year, after UGA lost a lineman for the season who said they had an exclusive interview w/ coach Mark Richt, only for Richt to say "Uh, maybe he was thinking about a different coach or a different season...I never talked to him"? Kirk. Who was a QB for OSU but will jump on any winning teams bandwagon with no second thoughts? Wonder boy Kirk Herbstreit.

Every time he is on I want to vomit.

You wasnt hit by anything at a Alabama game. Ive been to most of the home games the past few years, and never seen anything thrown at anybody, both ways.

Everybody hates Alabama, Im shocked we are able to stay number 2 with all the yanks voting for Penn. ......Who's next?

let's get back to football and quit the bragging and belly-aching about fans.

HOW 'BOUT THAT TIDE?!?! Yes, it was a nobody team, but we're 9-0 baby, and we won in November! That hasn't happened in a WHILE!

Next week is for the West, and the right to play Florida in ATL. La. State certainly doesn't look great, and it's a day game, so I feel good. After what FL did to the dawgs today, though, I'm not so sure I should be excited about going back to ATL.

Then again, we haven't lost in the state of Georgia yet this year...

Yes, they did get outplayed. Texas had trouble penitrating that NFL sized offensive line to get any pressure on Harrel. Then, our defense couldn't seem to tackle either.

    Congratulations go to Texas Tech.

SEC bias here, but I think Florida should be above Texas. That's really the only beef I have w/ the BCS top 5 right now.

Tech has to play Oklahoma State and Oklahoma coming up... rough.
