That was awesome video- thank you. But your accomplishment got me to thinking. I wonder if it’s possible for the MESO shift knob to handle multiple cameras- say cam 1; ‘Grille Cam’ and Cam 2 a Bed Cam. Then by hitting the MESO shift button you could “scroll” from normal view to cam 1 to cam 2, then back to normal view.

    See comment #1872.
Someone is doing it for the 2020 tacoma camera switch. In 2020 you switch between views by clicking on the switch (its a momentary switch so it works as a trigger and not by closing a loop).

I am looking up how to add a trigger switch selector. I might come up with something but then would have to ask my dad if I can do it without frying my electrical system.
It would be something like this I think:
(A relay that switches between RCA input triggered by a switch)

Thanks! Exactly what I've been looking for. Allows you to add multiple cameras and cycle through them if you want. I have the 'other' ABC kit which runs through the steering wheel. The downside to that one is that it's harder to integrate multiple cameras. This option would let me pull up my 'auxiliary camera' with the steering wheel, then I'd need to cycle cameras via the shifter. It's either go this route, or set the second MESO to triggering some ditch lights or something. I mean, I have the switch so I need to connect it so something, right?

I would think there would be a demand to convert the second Shift Knob button to a 'camera selector' that the driver could access when driving. Whether on the trail or on the roadways- toggling through the varied "cams" would be a lot easier then trying to find which switch and the location of the switch on the panel or left hand panel. Having a selector at your finger tips would allow easier access and not divert your attention.

Since you'll be keeping the dash switch, contact @lapoltba . He can direct you to getting something like this:

So you don't go hacking the harness....

And your point is?...the MESO switches to a TR7 does what?

Well my bad there. I thought the one linked to Crutchfield would cycle Multiple video with a single trigger input. Looked at it again after your question and it shows wiring for multiple triggers. I looked at the TR7 features and couldn’t see how to use one trigger to cycle multiple cameras. So I guess they are the same other than the additional features the TR7 has?

The other PAC device also requires multiple triggers doesn’t it?

I’ve been hoping for a way to run 2+ additional cameras without having separate switches for each camera.

Hood Struts, My version Fogs always ON, Map & Overhead Light Mod,
    Their activation is similar.

Yes, the TR-7 has programming to accept/need multiple triggers.

There's no getting away from multiple switches, the option is to achieve the inputs through one or 2 switches. This would turn into a multiple press action by one or two switches.

If @MESO would create a dual switch per side, you'd be set....since this module accepts locking or momentary inputs, both (+) or (-).

This could almost be done without MESO having to modify things too much. But I guess anything requiring a new mold is a new mold. He could raise the lower portion of the fill in subtly, and put a micro under it. Maybe. :)

I think I am going to just hook up my second switch to Traction Control, since it is the only other momentary switch that I use often.
