I was wondering the same thing. I see no reason to replace them other than bragging rights.

Set my bed up this weekend with hopes the weather breaks for kayak fishing soon. Missing is the boonedox t-bone.

The OEM mats wear faster and have less coverage. Also, some folks, like me, don't like the rubbery feeling under my feet.

    Nice!

if you’re planning on carrying 500+ lbs of stuff you might want to consider installing a rear antisway bar. It really helps with flattening out the body lean on corners and is easy to install

For me personally it was because WeatherTechs provided more coverage especially around the sides as well as the sill. Put them in my 2nd Gen and my wife's Subaru for the same reason. Much more protection IMO.
Nothing wrong with the OEM mats but prefer the WeatherTechs instead and I think they are also much easier to clean.

To piggyback on this subject....has anyone actually owned the WeatherTechs AND the Husky mats? Trying to decide between the two but would like non biased feedback. Thanks in advance!

I can’t answer for others but the OEM mats always seemed dirty. It rains so much in my area they always seemed to look dirty. I wanted rubber style mats b/c it is real easy to just hose them off and wipe them down. I kept my original mats to use at a later time...dry season.

I’ve had both in different vehicles. The lip of the mat was larger on the Weathertech. Sometimes that’s great but I have also had them with water and mud in them and my boot drug the edge of the mat which caused to to fling stuff on the bottom of my pants. My fault but it happens. Honestly they are about equal in my opinion. It’s like do you want Coke or Pepsi?

Why? I really like my OEM mats. I'd much rather have a Tacoma logo than any of the others I've seen.

    FYI

Ordered these radio knob grips from TheTacoGarage but they are too big for my knobs. I have a 2020 TRD Offroad with JBL Premium Sound and Dynamic Nav and mine does not have a CD player so i guess they made model with smaller knobs

MY saga continues. I ordered what I thought was the correct light. It fit but is different. What one do you like better?
I'm asking you, the internet to help me make a decision.
Or is there a really cool set out there someone knows about that would look better. But be bright in reverse.
The left side is no chrome.
    The right is with chrome.

I like the right side. I'm looking for someone who'd like to trade for my 2019 SR5 lights.

Installed CaliRaised stealth 32” LED light bar with AOB switch.

Found an OffGrid Engineering dual battery auto switching system on Craigslist with a size 34 AGM battery for a great deal. Installed that today- love it. Now I just need to find a ARB fridge for a steal.

Also added a Natika front camera wired to the second button on my MESO customs shift knob... anytime right side button is pressed it overrides display and shows front cam on my Sony AX8000. Press again and it reverts back to normal display. Wired up to trigger reverse camera with a PAC TR-7, 12v powered vid switcher and a couple diodes to prevent reverse lights from coming on when triggering.
