yeah my sister in law's sister (I guess she's also a sister in law?) is an anti-vaxxer. I just found out recently too which kind of blew my mind because she always came across as a level headed, smart person.

But she's of the mindset that it's "suspicious" that there's so much push to get them done, like there's some kind of ulterior motive to control people. What. The. Fuck. The fact that the civilized world is no longer plagued by measles, smallpox, hepatitis, mumps, etc. on a grand scale isn't proof enough that its for your own damn good to do it?

If it weren't for the fact that it ends up hurting others in the wake of their poor decisions I would be all for them not getting vaccines, if only to thin the herd. But like you said, it ends up hurting others in the end and that's why IMO it should be mandatory that everyone gets them.

I find using a seatbelt suspicious too bc I always hear on the news and commercials to wear it

lmao exactly. And still, there are people that use that failed logic as a reason not to. Or they heard of one or two rare isolated incidents where a seat belt resulted in a person not surviving, when statistically you're far more likely to live by wearing one.

Anyway don't wanna go down too many controversial paths in one day lol. Lets talk about frogs again

LOLS I'm still in the process of training my GF to wear hers bc she's never worn it prior to meeting me. She has that same mentality it'd kill you, as supposedly her last accident wasn't as bad not wearing it versus using it. With her mini cooper there is a beeper so she HAS to wear it or will go all drive. In the 5 lug I always make it down the block, turn, and the things not on so I make her wear it. There's no beeper obv and I've mentioned installing a custom seatbelt alarm to get her to wear it :rofl::rofl:

Telling her I love her and don't wanna lose her hasn't been enough. Even mentioned I didn't wanna lose her beautiful face from flying out the front and grinding half her face down like a cheese grater:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: It will come with time, really interested if a TW has a seatbelt alarm mod

Do our trucks come with seat belt chimes? I know later gens do...mine has a flashing light on the dash but there's never been a chime, wondered if the previous owner got rid of it somehow. I always wear one but I have a bad habit of putting it on as I'm driving away.

mine didn't and if I remember correctly I only get the flashing for my seatbelt. You can get a ticket from cops too in that case if she doesn't have her seatbelt on right?

In all but 15 states you can get pulled over and ticketed for it, in those other states it's considered a "secondary offense" which means it can't be the sole reason you get pulled over.

Googled it and of course Az is one of those 15 states that are "secondary enforcement". Did further research tho and if ur driving thru any native American reserves that some of them have changed their laws towards primary.

Imma still tell her I can get a ticket tho, just for her life's sake smh
