Seems like Toyota did too much on the 2020 and didn’t have anything else to add. Should have waited for the power seats

Probably won’t see anything groundbreaking until the next gen with the tundra.

Toyota still needs to milk around 2.5 years out of current generation. They will do a minor tweak here and there in an effort to keep it fresh in the marketplace.

Rumor is the all new 3.8L V6 310HP 9-speed 2021 Frontier will give the Tacoma a run for the money towards the end of the year.

Lol yeah I’m sure the frontier will make Tacomas irrelevant. History repeats itself. Always has and always will. Hence why you see Tacoma’s every where and hardly any frontiers. Just like how the ranger was going to give the Tacoma a run for its money, yet you see more rangers in the lot then you ever will on the road.

Wheels are just plastdipped ORs. Grill looks much better than it has so far, but those bed boxes are ridiculous. Removable or not, that was designed on a Thursday afternoon by someone waiting to go on vacation the next day.

Yeah, they’re going to be focusing on those. They won’t be giving the Tacoma anything groundbreaking until then. It’s going to be another few years of a random off shoot of trims with random bits and bobs until the next gen now.

Yep, status quo, remember the 2nd gens had similar updates, grille and light changes throughout its life span.
