Don’t do that. This dog has been given up on before and you are just going to make him think that you are doing the same. Get your ass outside and walk him as much as you can. He needs to learn to trust you. You adopted him now you owe it to him to train him. Start the training with “targeting” Look it up. It is easy to do and they catch on quickly. Treats are the key. He will build confidence while bonding with you and learning the order of the pack.

So funny story about a co-worker of mine. She's single and her friend is telling her she needs to get out and start dating and decides to thumb through her Facebook friends. Then she comes across my profile and said something like "These people! You need to go out with these people and get a truck driving mountain man"

 

I ain’t looking it up but the only time we've been out of my sight is for the clean up. He knows... that said, my hesitation is feeding him after going through that much garbage which contained a whole cup of five guys fries.

Not mad about him getting out the cage or making a pee/pop mess. It’s the garbage. Multiple times since I’ve brought the bag of mess out he’s gone to it and been yelled at for it. So in my eyes this is progress. He’s sitting back taking it easy not going for it.... we’re gonna test in a minute if he gets it when I go inside momentarily.

 

I have a stick welder on the kw(Kenworth). If the air hammer doesn't work. I'm gonna weld an 1 1/8 nut to the shaft and put the impact on it.
