Look on page 46 and dig up some of my old posts to see it. It looks OEM and wide in viewing angle and full HD. https://www.amazon.com/Backup-Water...akita+bac&sr=8-6#immersive-view_1582870128797 I used polyethylene split tubing and wire loom to hide the long RCA cable in there going right under the horn and in front of the radiator and running along side of the frame body by the battery. I zip tied and wrapped with electrical tape every few feet as it goes. The rest of the cable was pulled back up behind the head unit, zip tied in a bundle and tuck it right in the middle of the AC hoses.

You are absolutely right. My camera is shit and I had to google to order a new one. They ignored my complaint about the camera. I even asked what other camera with wider angle and better quality would work.
Just ordered a Natika camera based on tacomaworld reviews.

Out of my own morbid curiosity, did the the camera that came with your kit have the LED ring, and the nut with the notch cut out that wouldn't tighten? Lots of people got that one, including me, and had their complaints ignored. I emailed them asking for them to make it right, and their response was "Sorry, these things happen." World class customer service there.

That, I do not know. I'll be very interested if someone was, because you're looking at about five bucks worth of materials, plus the labor to put it together. Compare that to the price tag of the kit, and the stuff you have to buy yourself just to get it to work, and it's kind of infuriating.

A lot of people on here said they tried to squeeze it tighter with pliers or vice grips and ended up breaking it. I was able to creep mine a little bit tighter with a bench vise without breaking it, but it didn't really fix the problem. The nut just alternated between extremely tight and loose with about every 90 degrees of turn, all the way down the shaft of the camera bolt. Useless.

    FYI
I used these connectors from Home Depot installing the camera kit. They work great and look clean. Packaging says they are waterproof (to some degree and if used appropriately).
I used it for 2 wires connections and for 2smaller and 1 regular wire connections.

Just swapped the shitty anytimebc camera with Natika. They sent extra harness and goodies but all you need is the camera which comes with a 4 pin connection. Now thats what a front cam should look like!

Dumb question, when you hook it up like this is the camera always powered on or does the switch in the kit turn it on/off? I've got an aux fuse box with plenty of empty slots so this would be super convenient, but the kit I got has the camera with the led's around the lense. Wouldn't want those on all the time.

Yeah this version is always powered on, so you’d want to route the power through the relay so it powers on with the switch

What does the relay in this setup do? Switch the feed? I mean since you stated both cameras are always ON.

Here's an ugly schematic I made when I first got my kit to understand what was going on. When you shift into reverse, the orange wire that goes to the HU goes HIGH (marked HU below). Diode blocks the signal from propagating through the switch to trip the relay, which will switch to the front camera.

When you flip the switch to the FRONT position, you send a HIGH signal to the HU, which makes it show the camera screen. And at the same time, you energize the relay which flips the camera signal from back to front.

You're missing the part when you want to see the Rear Cam or Front Cam without shifting into Reverse...don't see it in your drawing.
Also, where or when does the front Cam have juice? I'm thinking only when selected...
