OEM Tonneau Cover - Where to buy?

I want a oem factory Tacoma long Bed cover Toyota parts Dept says I can’t get one on my 2020 Tacoma so if anyone is selling one I only have seen short bed 4 door ones I need access cab long bed one I am in northern Califorina

 

I’m Looking for an oem tonneau Cover for my 2020 Tacoma Trd. Does someone know if a 2018 cover will fit mine? Thanks

 

2016-2020 are the same, you just need to make sure you get one for a 5' or 6' box.

Toyota Canada sells the OEM tonneau cover as an accessory that can be added after the fact. Toyota USA seems to only want to offer it as a factory option.

If anyone is near the border and wants to hop over, here are the Canadian part numbers:

PK3B1-35J5H - Cover, Tonneau (Short Box, 5')
PK3B1-35J6H - Cover, Tonneau (Long Box, 6')

When the parts catalog was first updated for the 2016, there were part numbers in there for the complete assembly (64910-04010 for 5', 64910-04020 for 6') but Toyota ended up not selling them as complete units (aside from the Canadian accessories).

If you buy these parts online at a discount, you'll probably be right around $2100-2200 USD. Toyota Canada sells the cover kit for about $1050 USD.

Good to know Canada can get a new one I will look into that since I got a new truck & would prefer a new one as to a 2 year old one on a new truck

 

Skip oem and get aftermarket. Cheaper and some are better looking.

 

So I called Canada Toyota yep they can sell the oem factory kit to Canadians with a Canadian Vin# Tacoma & have to be in person to order it no shipping the cost of it was $1,400 Canadian dollars plus there taxes FYi. As well I called Toyota USA to complain to them how stupid they are for not selling to USA but to Canada was ok the lady didn’t even know Canada was Allowed to sell the oem factory complete kits but here in the USA no has to be ordered & put on truck at the factory only BS. Glad I was able to find one in good shape for my truck. I like the oem look & fit style for what I am going to use it for.

You certainly don’t need a Canadian VIN to buy one in Canada. Any person could walk into any dealer and buy one easily enough.

Shipping would be pricey to get it down to the US though.

 

I talked them this morning up there in the north he said he would sell it to me if I walked in just have to come in no shipping to the USA cost was $1,400 plus there taxes his computer shows not for USA market he couldn’t tell me if it was a different style but I am sure it’s the same style.so I got a good used one so will stick with that for now maybe if I go there on vacation maybe drop in & get a new one.

 

Toyota Canada often has their own accessories but in this case it is the same as the factory one available in the US.

Yes I know but Toyota really doesn’t want us to get one unless we get it from the factory & order it online instead buying a truck on a dealers lot & get one in the parts Dept. After the fact. But it’s ok for Canada just not us that’s BS.

 

Take solace in the fact that there a ton of accessories sold in the US that aren’t available here. Haha.
