    @Cam2010taco

    I run almost the same setup as @austinmtb , but with Firestone W02-358-7081 bags which are around $45 a pop and have 11.5" travel.

    Would recommend, of course best with some external compression adjustable shocks.

    The Carli bags seemed too $$ for me, but I don't have any experience with the product.

    Nice, I wish I knew about those before buying my Carli's, I would've saved a lot of money. Do you think they are as tough as the Carli bags?

    One reason I was attracted to the Carli bags is because they have an internal bump stop, and other bags don't. After setting them up I realized that I would hit my normal bumpstops on my truck before the airbag bumpstops hit, so it wasn't even necessary to have the bag bumpstops. I'm going to build an airbag setup for my buddy here pretty soon so I'll probably end up going with those firestone bags.

    @Cam2010taco X2 what @Bandido said about the comp adjusters, it's a must have with airbags if you want decent handling.

    I don't have any first hand experience with the Carli's, but different Firestone models will come with the internal bump stop as well (and more travel!).
    They don't seem like the toughest thing in the world, but so far so good... They are in a similar location to yours and don't catch a lot of debris.

    So I'm going to be putting my ICON S2 hoops up for sale. I was curious, could people running a +2' or +3.5" LT kit use these, or are they pretty much only good for a mid-travel setup?

    Those of you with cam tab gussets does it help keep your alignment in spec, I stopped the long travel life a while back but even with mid travel alignment gets knocked out constantly and truck drives like shit for longer trips when taking pavement back. Don't want to solid mount, ideas?

    i have not used the gussets or square tab replacements, but i do have the Marlin HD frame braces. they are not exactly the same but they have definitely firmed up the front end (significantly) and protected the alignment. i have a 3 year history of throwing the alignment out on this truck with how i toss it around. the Marlin braces finally fixed that.. so far. but i don't rock crawl.

    Finally got this in its resting place tonight. I have to finish welding the tie rods (ran out of gas) and run the hydraulic lines and then it's ready for a test.

    Nice, did you do a write up on it? Or make a parts list?

    I have 2 separate parts list (2 different rams) one a trail gear ram and the other is the psc ram. Once I get everthing finalized I will probably do a write up on it.

    Yes, I would recommend this mod for any vehicle that frequents the off pavement life. Mid travel or long travel. Your going to bend over the cam tabs in no time.

    Nope haven’t done anything else to the rear. Got about 1,000 in parts just sitting there but it’s hard to justify living around here
