I asked opinions on the Husky vs. WTs a couple of weeks ago in this forum. Husky won. I have WTs in another car. I think you can’t go wrong with either.

I think it's spot on the dates. I graduated in 74, Got my Eagle Scout and we were using those stoves then. Amazing. Thanks for sharing that. I appreciate it a great deal.

I grew up car camping with all of those! I have slightly newer versions in my current kit. Slightly newer still being 35 years old. I think my Dad still has all that gear from my childhood. Thanks for sharing.

Installed a lazy man’s bed light. Wife bought these little AAA battery operated push lights for a few closets in our house and I figured it’d be a good way to see my gear on fire calls in the dark. Eventually I’ll upgrade but this works well for now!

We have Weather Tech in 2 cars and I have the Toyota OEM all weather mats in my Tacoma. The Weather Tech mats are fine, the mats are thinner and more of a plastic feel (slippery) than rubber. All the rear Weather Tech mats seem to curl around the edges. The older set is harder to clean and a dusty gray unless you apply some dressing. The Tacoma mats are rubber, they are more flexible and thicker. The Weather Tech do cover more surface, but I prefer the Toyota mats. They look and feel better, they handle the snow and wet conditions just fine. All the mats are about the same at the gas pedal.

Keeping up with the wiring OCD. Pulled the current SPOD connections and added labels done in heatshrink tuning on my label maker.
