Did you test drive the truck and put it on a lift before you bought it? At least have a mechanic look it over?

.....Only drive-line issues I've had is U-Joints and Carrier Bearing, and that was at 150-175k.

Pretty much narrowed it down to these rubber band leaf springs now. As the pinion angle is way outa wack from pretty much 15 % throttle to 100%. I watches a newr like 2018 bend the shit out of its leaf springs on take off from a light the other day.smdh

Naw.didnt have access to a lift....i kinda had to buy it quick cuz my frontier was falling to peices faster then i could fix it....trusted all ive heard about tacomas unfortunately noone told me about driveline issues. And im basically a mechanic.dont have all the tools i had now but i was a tech at honda for 6 years, had 2 hotrods and been workin on cars since 20 or 21....thats how i knew there was a driveline issue. I slightly felt it on 2 test drives but you figire out everything wrong w a new vehicle about 2 weeks after you have it.

That's too bad you're having a little trouble. If you're basically a mechanic you should know not to just trust what people tell you about a used vehicle and look it over yourself...should have been very easy to notice those leaf springs sagging as much as they are. As with any used vehicle its a roll of the dice because there's no way of knowing how the previous owner treated it. If you could tell there was something off about it after 2 test rides, why would you still buy it?

Who looks for sagging leaf springs? I look for oil leaks transmission leaks or sounds. Theres know way to know hidden things about a vehicle till you drive it around for a couple weeks.there auta be a 2 week test period when you buy a used car.but some states do have laws about excessive repairs or problems after a used vehicle is bought. Thats called looking out for the consumer but the rip off state of florida doesnot. So poeple keep getting ripped off....along with toyota not addressing the problem and still putting a 4 leaf spring on these this forum will continue to have complaints about vibrations. They auta call it a toyota vibrator.

Also now that i look at them from my year all the way to like an 18 all their springs are sagging.every last one of em.it evedently has been an ongoing problem for about 15 years now. What coulda been done is me going on a forum before i buy something to pin point the problems as i see them on the page then see if the one im looking at has the same issues.

Again, anyone who is basically a mechanic would look over the entire vehicle...
Sounds about right to be dependent on the government to look out for you when buying a USED vehicle. You should have looked it over before buying it.

    500 for used springs??

I threw mine in the dumpster. They aren’t even worth 50 bucks.

Garbage leaf springs don’t depend on previous ownership....nor do most of the issues I have had. They are inherent with the truck.
There are known issues that folks here put up with as being normal.

Unfortunately I think a Chevy or Ford would be an even bigger turd.

I bought the Roadmaster active suspension for mine....it keeps a good ride and helps the crappy leafs. $350 I shouldn’t have to spend.

But the real point is that what you’re experiencing are very well know shortcomings. Very easily found by a google search. I’m not a mechanic and before I buy anything I have a decent understanding of engine construction, common failure points, common weak points, etc of any vehicle I own. Simply so I know exactly what to check for when I show up to look at it. Every manufacturer has its problems dude, leaf springs and driveshafts are pretty fucking cheap compared to the issues others have. Just being honest.

THANK YOU!!! That was my whole point. Its a widely known issue. The BUYER is ultimately responsible for whatever they are buying. And especially a "mechanic", should know to do their homework and at the very least look it over before you buy it. Springs and a driveshaft are much cheaper and easier to replace than an engine or transmission.

OP, were you able to take it back to the dealer for resolution?
My 14' has some vibration on take off, but it happened only after I lifted it, so my doing. A single driveshaft would likely fix any issue with vibrations in the driveshaft, but I think you may run into issues with the single DS hitting the carrier cross member (since it sounds like you're stock height). A two-piece double cardan would then be the next solution. I'd run a camera on the underside to see what's happening (i.e. driveshaft vibes/axle wrap).
