    Well a step down pulley size is usually around 20-25 rwhp and nets about 2lbs. So yeah 40-50 rwhp. You do really feel that much more power just on the vvt adjustment tunes? @12TRDTacoma


    I’ve never heard the Ucon or even the APRx1 aggressive tunes back in the day bump up boost before. Hoping @JustDSM chimes in here too

    I feel a lot more power all around. Remember though.. upon changing my cam gears I also went with a 160 t stat which adds the benefit of more timing being run. I also closed up my plug gaps recently so there is more to the story than just cam gears, that being said that was the immediate change before getting retuned. All this other stuff came shortly after the tune.

    Not sure.. I haven't looked at PSI in relation to timing advance since boost is not logged in the datalog it's difficult to put a number on a particular boost number. I'd have to film it while driving and then refer back to that timestamp in the log to see where I'm at.

    If you have your own MPVI2 and an existing BD tune I can speak highly of tuning remotely with @JustDSM. Extremely reasonable cost, good all around person, and he has been tuning most of the supercharged folks in this thread with great results!

    Thats what i figured. Im NA'd but why not properly log and adjust, i have the technology hahah.

    now to round up the couple of gaskets needed for the cam gear job, and find the time / tools to do so.

    Last weekend i did cam gears and deleted SAI (for off-road use only), got re-tuned by JustDSM... I noticed now I have a very slight hesitation when cranking the truck over on a cold start and a bit longer crank time. subtle but enough for me to notice. is this something i should be worried about ?

    Probably just the truck learning everything on based on the new tune. I wouldnt worry at all. (so long as you got cam gears aligned properly)

    Dude, will you stop being such a class act! haha. Thank you for the offer, gonna have to pass though. Im not sure when ill have the time and if someone can use those gaskets now id much rather have that!

    Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
    I took my gaskets back to the dealership and refunded the money. Mine were still fresh and pliable when I pulled the covers.

    Which fuel pump are you running?

    fwiw my walbro 255 caused a delay start and it was the check valve in the pump that caused it. Added an inline check valve and havent looked back

    For me. If im in that far, the 15-20 bucks per side is not worth it to have to replace down the road if they do leak. Once those cam gears go in, ill never go back inside haha.

    Our trucks are 2012 and above so it is in our best interest to replace those stupid gaskets while we are in there or suffer the consequences of having to pull off that AIP manifold again. Fuck that thing, and I say that with extreme hatred in my demeanor. Lol.
