Oh, it was ridiculous... And not in the good way. I didn't get any pics of that monstrosity on purpose. He did let loose with his subs and shook the whole building, so there's that.

 

5.29's hands down. I've kicked myself in the ass every day since I put in 4.88's. If you're going to Megarun catch up with me. You can drive my truck with the 4.88's and skinny 33's. You'll agree 5.29's are the way to go after driving it. If you're not going and you're around the Westoplex, hmu and i'll meet you somewhere to let you drive it.

Broke my windshield. Friend recommended getting a pilkington. Called a shop (Auto Glass xperts) and was told pilkington no longer has a warehouse around here so they are not available, they use fuyao now. They quoted 225 for the fuyao installed. So I asked about factory and she said the windshield alone is 629. To be honest that's way out of budget. Anyone in the metroplex gotten a windshield replaced lately and able to get pilkington? Anyone had experience with fuyao vs pilkington?

 

Toyota OEM glass is Pilkington. I cant imagine getting it directly from them would be a whole lot cheaper. But then again ive never had to pay for a windshield. If you're on facebook check with Josh Castillo on DFW tacomas. Hes in Ft worth and does glass.

My new truck has Fuyao glass, not sure how long it's been on but there's no obvious deficiencies.

A 15 sport, not terribly different but low miles and all the cool stuff will swap right over.

Sexy! I really like that color. Shocking it's a sport instead of off road. You happen to have the roof trim pieces from the old truck? Still untouched? I trimmed mine for a roof light bar and now going back to stock.
