In a conundrum. Want to take the new motorcycle for a ride after work while it’s still nice, but also want to workout. Need more daylight hours!

Getting better, but I can't twist my torso at all without shooting pain.

Deadlifts tomorrow which is where I hurt it last week, kinda worried but still gonna send it.

Anyone else think this shits blown out of control? The common flu kills a significantly higher amount of people each year.

They say it’s cause it’s a new virus and how quickly it spreads is what makes it dangerous. It can still evolve and become something bad.

Yay my entire fucking plans out the window and 2 hotel nights wasted. I am sure they will refund due to such a dumb shit out of control 'virus'. If not, I guess I am finding some wineries to explore.

As an MPH, yeah I do think its slightly over blown.

The US has the quality of care to make the coronavirus really only problematic for very young, elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. That doesn’t mean it couldn’t become a more severe problem in less developed countries though. It could be devastating for some parts of the world.

However I do appreciate the level of global cooperation for public health this go around. Zika and Ebola were not handled properly. Glad to see improvement this go around.
Ebola scared the shit out of me. The US is absolutely unprepared to handle any major acute illness epidemic. So I would always fear the potentiality of something big impacting us just because from a bureaucracy standpoint we can’t do shit right.

I’m happy to see a lot of major events cancelled because prevention is really the best defense. There are a lot of international marathons being cancelled. Any event that encourages international travel is a concern. I’m unsure if the Arnold really qualified.

Everyone better stay the fuck off cruise ships for now though. Those things are horrific public health hazards.

My buddy (ER doc) is seeing people come in wigging out about it. People whos only risk factor for exposure is watching the news. Its like STAHP! You’re fine. Its a cold.

That being said I’m sick and fucking tired of the damn stock market bull shit. That I think is the land of drama and tiny violins.

Coronavirus is not new (MARS and SARS have been around a long time). Its just a virus, so its ever changing and morphing which makes it problematic to predict and control, especially on a global level.
