    Exactly what Gunshot-6A mentioned.

Our LED products are rebuild-able so we can always repair them if there's an internal issue. It would require you to send in the light so one of technicians can perform the repair.

Awesome, so I could send in for a rebuild on my own dime if I am not covered under warranty?

@Baja Designs You wouldn't happen to have output shots of your IR line by chance would you? I'd imagine that would fall under ITAR/FOUO guidelines being on DAGOR / M-RZR, but a thing happened and I'm in the market for 940nm goodness :spy: #antilumens

Thank god @Rome604 and all of his intensifier tube frying lumens are on the opposite coast

Unfortunately, I don't have any output shots of our IR line. This is something we should be in the works of updating our website soon. Stay tuned!

I'm on the fence between a set of Xl80s or the Lp4s for my a pillars. Using the driving combo lens on both. The only kicker for me with the Xl80s, I can throw the amber cover if I wanted to. Also seen a awesome picture of a Xl80 with a S1 mounted to the side in wide cornering. The only con of the Lp4, a minor one, is the Lp4 dose not have the snap on amber covers. We dont get much fog in my area, plus I have the sae squadrons for my fog lights, but I do like the idea of throwing the amber covers on in inclement weather. Thanks for the help.

I would worry about the LP4 throwing too much light onto the hood with the side shooters on them.

That is one thing I was thinking about. It would be sweet if Baja made a Lp series that had the side shooters for drivers/passenger side only.

For an A-pillar mounting location, there's two different setups. A spot light (pointed forwards) or a ditch light (pointed to the sides). With this location, it's normal to battle glare. Glare can be very annoying to the driver, because it reflects on the hood and blinds them. For this reason, I would recommend the XL80 because it doesn't have the IPTs. The XL80 in a driving/combo lens will give you two 9 degree spot LEDs and two 42 degree flattened beam LEDs. Whereas the LP series offers a 200 degree spread. Which means it would be shining light back into the cab (not what we want ). If you wanted to use the LP4, some of our racers use a piece of vinyl wrap to cover the IPTs. This would work, but it's kind of a custom job done by the customer. The recommended lens if pointed forward would be spot, this will minimize the glare. If pointed to the sides, you can use the wide cornering lens. Let me know if you have any further questions and I can help you figure out the best setup! :)

I actually ordered a set of Xl80s, should be here tomorrow. Cant wait to see how they work. Should complement the Sae Squadrons I already have in amber/selective yellow. Also got the amber covers for the Xl80s whenever we get fog or rain (rain like the last 3 weeks straight)

You'll be stoked on that setup! They're one of our most common setups found on our racer's lighting setups. Let us know how the install turns out!

They are awesome, I still need to do some final adjustments on them but man they blow the other competitors driving lights out of the water. Wish there was a spot light only lens for the Xl80 but I thing the Driving Combo lens will be awesome. May even throw the amber covers on if needed in the morning. Now I need to save up and get a set of S1 or S2 Pros for reverse.

I put spot covers on my XL80s that I’m using in the ditch light location.

Also save your money and get the S1 unless you absolutely need a combo beam, S1s are nearly the same output as the S2 pros and considerably cheaper. I have both

And get rid of those garage Baja designs SAE lights and get a set of diode dynamic SS3 pros, there really is no comparison.

Only reason I was thing the S2 pro in combo was for area lighting with distance lighting. I know the Baja fogs aren't the best but Diode Dynamics are still developing the kit for my truck, I know I dont have a Tacoma but Crashnburn80s thread is awesome. I regret not buying a Tundra but so far this F150 has treated me good.

I'm happy to hear that! :) We do sell the replacement lenses for the XL series (Spot, W/C, and D/C). https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/Replacement-Lenses.asp. From our testing, the XL80s perform very well in the driving/combo lens. I would say it's the most common setup. If you want to experiment with the spot lens, it's the matter of swapping it out with the four bezel bolts.
