Well that was a pain until he tail hour long job. Now ready to install the new UCAs tomorrow when they arrive in the mail. Toyota sure did a good job with this design.

That's what I went with. I didn't really need them, but the original bushings were shot so I figured it'd be easier. I've been happy with them so far.

I need them unfortunately. Hoping the high caster can move the wheel forward enough to not have to do anymore cutting. Rubbing right now only a little in certain situations but only thing left to do would be much more cutting and really don’t want to have to cut the fender liners completely out or cut on the cab mount. I know many have but I personally don’t want to do that if avoidable.

I think @tweakit88 has these UCAs and didn't even have to do a cab chop. If that's the case, then I will go with these as well, don't want to cut or chop anything if I can help it.

But you have smaller tires and not rubbing now. Why would you change UCAs without a need? Unless larger tires are coming too!

Larger tires are coming. Plus, I want the extra droop I can get with the aftermarket UCAs.

Yup and no cutting for me. Trimmed 1.5" of plastic and that was it.

I’ve trimmed plastic and melted the fender liners to remold them after beating down pinch weld. Still rubs when wheels turned slightly and hit a firm bump. Only happens off pavement because my driveway isn’t nice and smooth as pavement but if it’s rubbing now I can only imagine what it would be like off road.

Anyway jba UCAs be installed tomorrow then get alignment done next day. Then gotta head to Louisiana for a home inspection this weekend. Now next weekend if anyone has any plans I’d like to go somewhere off road. If not I’ll head to Stoney because I know where that’s at and isn’t extremely far away. With winch lift and bigger aggressive mud tires I should have much less issues traveling around there now :)

If you're rubbing on road, you're gonna rub twice as bad off road.

That's odd, I've run 265/75/16s on multiple Toyotas on factory suspension without rubbing. It's probably your wheels. Your lift will help take care of that though.
