hmmm.... well, at least you get to pump your own gas (we do also) I hear there are still places you cant pump your own, so these people dont know what to do when they go to other states.

We have municipalities that require gas attendants and others that do not. Some of the stuff you see at gas pumps makes you wonder how some people survived this long!

It’s the same signal as the spare. If you change the receiver in the car you need to get a new key fob.

Recently added a Matt Gecko hood light. Took about an hour to install. Looks super clean and lights up the engine compartment really well. C2E359EB-9EAE-4001-B5B0-DF41484F0FD5.jpg

I mounted the switch in the plastic cover. Works slick. I highly recommend the light

Yup like liberal Oregon. Can’t pump your own gas, too dangerous, besides think of all the desirable jobs you’d lose. Can pump your own diesel though. People who drive diesels are obviously smarter must be the thinking in our capital

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
The door switch turns on the LED lights in the 2x switches so I can find them in the dark. I also have 1x blue LED that illuminates the mini fuse panel just to the right of the switch panel.
Needless to say but it took a bit more than a few hours to design and build this little charge station/ switch panel.

I hooked up my “new” headlights today and need some help. Maybe some of the more tech savvy guys (@MESO ?) on here can chime in, as I am definitely not one of them. :help:
I picked up some TRD headlights (LED DRL) with halos and a harness from @Taco-Man18 (since I have an SR5) and everything seems to be working except my DRLs/halos when set to DRL. When turning on the parking lights or headlights, the DRL and halos both come on and work fine.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. AEBB3CA6-931C-44D6-A819-034FCD8D5191.jpg

Same. I think they ride smoother than the stock tires it came with. Had an initial balance issue with them. Was getting a vibration at about 55-60 mph, but Discount Tire fixed the issue right away and I've been pleased ever since.

Do you have to sand the chrome before you spray ?

It's pretty easy. MesoCustoms has a video his website that shows you how to get the console trim and 4wd selector out. It also shows how to disassemble the selector to get the chrome ring. As far as the steering wheel emblem there are a few videos on YouTube for removing the airbag to get the emblem out. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY before you do that one tho, lol.

Nope. Not only that, I used the factory tray as well. I almost became a sucker and bought that cbi battery tray for 90 bucks until I realized how that would be a huge waste of money. The factory tray is a very thin plastic that doesn't really do anything. It doesn't support the battery or keep it from moving around. Its only held into the truck by the force of the battery sitting on top of it and isn't attached to anything.

The only thing I can think of is it might keep some of that corrosive acid from a leaking battery from getting into the rest of your engine bay, but even that I'm skeptical about.

That being said, a group 27 battery is longer than the stock tray so it just hangs over the side a bit. Nothing wrong with it at all.

Dropped the truck off this morning to have the new tires and wheels mounted. Got a call 25 minutes later:

"Hey, so... did you see if there was any damage on the wheels, maybe from shipping?"

"None, I have pictures from yesterday if you need."

"Well in that case I think one of my techs fucked up."

They're gonna buy me a new one and mount it for free, so I guess I just got my fifth/spare for free. :)
