That needs to be done, I've thought about it until they announced the new frame replacement campaign. I am good until 2024, so I'll stick to the fluidfilm until then. Hopefully end up with a new frame at some point.

Get a tyvek suit or something similar when you apply the POR-15. Did the old man's chevy about 15 years ago, went to school for about 2 weeks with that shit all over my hands.

Get a really good T55 socket. Those fuckers are TIGHT.

 

Probably just as bad as the glue we use to install the windshields get it on your hands take weeks to come off.

This is what I want to do this summer, remove the bed and clean & por15 the frame. started the process last summer with the front plates and crash bar. Only rust on her is starting on the factory welds.
I thought I was going to have to drill out the filler neck rivets to remove the bed, just a couple bolts by the tank. cool!

 

What are these motorcycles you speak of?

 

I have 2004 cbr1000rr and a 2019 wr450f.
When me and my bro go riding dirtbikes its usually two or three bikes we load up
