Sooo I have to get a new phone. Not getting one isn’t an option. LOL

I’ve never had an Android but considering it. Idk which one to even start looking at. So I guess my questions are:

If I go android, how do I move my contacts? Can text and pics be moved as well.

If I stay with Apple.... can text be moved to cloud and uploaded to new phone? I know I can save pics.

I’ve already started cleaning out contacts I don’t want in the backup I’ll be uploading so that part isn’t really an issue.

I have always backed my iphones up in iTunes on the computer. text have always moved over when I have plugged the new phone in and Contacts have always done the same as well. If you have the stuff backed up in the cloud it should move from old iPhone to new without any problems.

edit: I’m not sure off the top of my head how to move stuff over from iPhone to a new android. Im sure you can do it, I have never done it so don’t know how. Someone in here I’m sure can tell you.

Too far north here for Cottonmouths...
Fine by me. I hear they're rather belligerent.
I don't recall ever seeing one when I lived down south.

    Story time...:)

20 odd years ago (one early Summer) Mrs Gritto comes in and says:
"Hey, there's a little snake out on the carport and the cats are going nuts."
I reply: "Whatsa matter, is my wife afraid of an itty bitty snake?"
    "Deal with it!"
    "Yes Ma'am!" :p

So I grab some gloves and a 5 gallon bucket.
I go out and the snake had gone under my truck to get away from the cats.
I'm on my hands and knees reaching for it and...
...there it is, coiled up, shaking the little button on the tip of its tail. Pencil sized.
    "Shit! It's a baby rattlesnake!" sez I.

"Whatsa matter, is my hubby afraid of an itty bitty snake?", sez the Missus.

    Plan B:
Broom, sweep into bucket, take it into the woods. Let it go.

    No I'm not particularly soft-hearted.
I got no problem shooting groundhogs in my garden or squirrels in my apple trees.
But I didn't see any point in killing it. :notsure:
They're not nearly as common and obnoxious as Copperheads.

I used to switch back and forth to stay savvy on both platforms but strictly Apple now due to everyone in the family having them.
As I recall, the phone store can migrate contacts over but not texts. Pictures can be moved to cloud or google drive for safe keeping but not sure if you can get them to cross over.
    Not much help I know!

it maybe kind of hard but you could put all pic onto a computer and move them over from say iPhone to android that way. I do this with most pic that mean something to me anyways as well as use iCloud some.

Timber rattled snakes and copper heads are kinda common around here. Middle/west TN has cottonmouths ( they have more wet lands and marshy areas than we do in East TN) we do have common water snakes around here that can be mean AF.

Here is all the snakes we have and where they can be found. https://www.tn.gov/twra/wildlife/reptiles/snakes.html
