Motorcycles BS Thread 2.0

My first bike was a Ninja 500R. I rode it for a year, crashed it, and replaced it with a 2005 CBR1000RR. It was pants-shittingly fast in a straight line. I never wrecked it, but it did let me know on a couple occasions that there is no free rides, and that one could make me pay dearly. I sold it, it was too fast to be fun on the streets. I will rebuild my 500 to do what I need for fun, then buy another bike to have for adventuring.

 

Revzilla has a HQ in Philly, but I heard their gear selection is bad

Whenever it gets here is when it’ll get here. Friday is the earliest it said so who knows. Could be Friday could be Tuesday lol

Well fuck me, it was delivered today. I also got my helmet lock delivered too

 

I used to ride with a stunt crew back in the early 2000s but I hate riding in big groups especially with sport bikes nowadays. I'm cool with just riding with my brother. Big groups normally equals trouble.

 

My dream vacation to see these races. One of these years I'll go

 

all my riding friends have sold to get married or had kids and sold. I just putt around by myself most of the time. My gf is interested in riding, but not sure if she will ever get her license, let alone her own bike. Im ok with going around alone, or when @LocoLocal isnt hunting.. but a few of us have different riding styles. I like city and shorter distances. He likes country. Ill do country but I need gas every 60 miles

 

I love my 04 cbr1000rr. But I've had it since new. It's hard for me to get back on a 600 because of power loss. But that's just my opinion

 

I love riding county back roads where there is less car traffic

 

That is awesome to hear! I need to go on those roads. I definitely like the scenic route too. I just need to fill up a few times to get there
