Ah fair enough, the ARB ones seem a little thin at 3mm, with 4 pieces.

the RCI site has a sale atm, 15% off using their coupon. but for a full set of 3/16" steel powder coated skids work out to be $650 USD, $810 USD shipped.

after having gone through the install of the BAMF bracket i know that i would not have had to drill my bumper with the C4. also the design of my SOS bumper meant getting tools in there to bolt up that forward facing bolt was ridiculously difficult. hoping my shittybilt winch will be saving my bacon without issue for many years to come cause heaven help me when i need to get to the bolts again to pull the bumper.

like i said the BAMF bracket is on, its beefy and isnt going anywhere now so its all good but for the two reasons above i would go for the C4 if you have a bumper that doesnt have the holes in the front plate. i think the BAMF bracket thread has some info on which bumpers will need drilling and which wont. if you have a compatible bumper you will love the BAMF and it will go on easy.

unless i am not seeing them already there you are gonna need to drill the holes that i drew in. drilling a couple holes and hitting them with a bit of primer/paint is no biggie but the real problem at least with my SOS streamline bumper is the holes needed to be drilled exactly where the side plate meets the back of the mounting plate that bolts to the frame horns. i elongated the holes to the side on the truck frame a little with a dremel and drilled over to the side as much as i thought i could and it worked out fine albeit with a bolt up thats a little crooked. with the sizable grade 8 hardware all bolted up and the beefy bracket i am confident my winch will set my truck on fire before the bumper/brackets fail which means success.

if i had your warn i would go for the C4 or one of the other similar designs instead of the BAMF unless you can confirm the side plate isnt in the way. i dont remember if you are running front reservoir shocks or not but that might another consideration as those C4 style brackets might not play nice with the mounts.

if what i said above doesnt make sense here is a pic showing where i elongated the holes a little to move the bolt over far as possible in the bracket. also a pic of the hole i drilled that shows where it is in relation to the frame mount holes and also where the other plates will meet it on the other side. hope that helps.

Never had an issue with my previous truck :notsure:

Ford has an extra failure point with the capless fuel fillers (trapdoor hinge can get gummy and the seal can degrade).
