No lift at the moment . Still deciding on which to go with.

Just got my Viar300 Compressor in the mail yesterday. Gunna test her out today after work and hopefully hit up a trail this weekend and give it a shot

 

This is actually a good lesson. Take lots of pics of your stuff before taking it to the shop. I'm going to have to start doing this from now on.

 

Viair make great little compressors. I've been using the 88p for almost a year now with no complaints other than that I'm sometimes the last one to fill up. 300 I think is bigger so it should be faster than mine. It's worked every time though and stores pretty cleanly behind the back seat.

 

Heck yes. The fact that they asked didn't bother me too much because they didn't continue to push the issue and immediately offered to fix the situation. Honestly I even take pictures of the truck before I drop it off in case someone drags an air tool against it by accident.

 

There is a member on here that has built a custom PnP kit, KJTO 4x4. It works great.

 

Looks great, doesn't look like you will have any rubbing issues at all.

 

They're only 31.6", I should be more than fine. I may at some point bump up to the 33's, but for now the truck was already plenty capable on the trails I'm usually on; Flint in UT was short but a ton of fun, Richmond Hill, Lincoln Creek, and Imogene here in CO so far. Roof rack next, still deciding between the iKamper mini or a Hiker Trailer (hooj difference, thus why I'm sleeping happily on the ground for now until we decide what suits us better), almost definitely a high clearance rear and something in the front. Was ready to pull the trigger on a Decked but I backed out because I don't think I want to give up my bed space.

I’m no expert on wiring, not even really educated at all. But my guess would be that you don’t have it wired for the new DRL’s. The models that already come with them I’m thinking would have it wired back to the fuse box separately for the DRL and headlight. So if you just plugged it all in with tour previous setup it would make sense that it only turns on with the headlights. So maybe you need some extra wiring set up to plug in like the models that already come with the DRL. Just my thought and again I’m not really educated at all on it, just read a lot on here

Man oh man, you're living my dream. I love the West Slope particularly the Northwest corner. Haven't been there for the last 5 years. Prior to that 14 years straight, I'm having withdrawal symptoms. Hope to be able to retire there in a couple of years and fly fish my life away.
Jealous as hell!
Rafting with friends and doing overnights on the CO. is awesome.
One of the first things I'll do if it happens is buy myself an oar raft, drift boat would be my 2nd choice.
CO. is the place to be if you love the outdoors, just wish real estate wasn't so damn expensive.

Finding somewhere affordable out here can definitely be a pain, but it's doable! You gotta watch it like a hawk and be ready to jump on it. Friends of ours just picked up a decent sized plot of land right on the water down behind Carbondale, they were river guides in an earlier life so it's perfect for them. It's a paradise for the right person. Always love to have more people out here who appreciate it, everyone else can move to the front range or better yet the east coast.

Not an important question and definitely not worth starting a thread over but I want to upgrade the battery terminal connectors before I install the ditch lights and my ARB... welcome any part #'s people are using that are good connectors with room to grow (no fuse block or junction yet, gonna run everything off the terminals).

 

Hahah I have no social skills to speak of, I didn't even look to see if you were on the east coast before I said that. Nothing meant by it, just trying to keep our cost of living here down and I picked a random location!!
